Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in blood collection and a commitment to providing excellent patient service. As a Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate specimen collection and processing, contributing to the overall quality of patient care.Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform venipuncture and capillary draws for blood collection in accordance with established protocols.</li><li>Ensure the use of aseptic techniques during all procedures to maintain patient safety and specimen integrity.</li><li>Process specimens accurately for laboratory analysis, adhering to laboratory procedures and standards.</li><li>Document patient information and laboratory results in compliance with medical terminology and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Monitor and record vital signs as needed, providing essential information for patient assessments.</li><li>Provide exceptional patient service by explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and ensuring comfort during the blood draw process.</li><li>Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure timely and accurate specimen handling and processing.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience in phlebotomy or a related field is preferred.</li><li>Strong understanding of physiology knowledge relevant to blood collection and patient care.</li><li>Familiarity with laboratory procedures and specimen collection processing techniques.</li><li>Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service.</li><li>Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.</li><li>Knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous.</li><li>Certification in phlebotomy or completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program is preferred.</li></ul>Join our team as a Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant where your skills will directly impact the health and well-being of our patients!Pay: $15.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Mileage reimbursement</li></ul>Work Location: In person
