YOUR ROLE
As a Finance team member, you&rsquo;ll play a key role in supporting the financial strength and flexibility that enables us to be there when our policyholders need us &ndash; now and in the future. The tax department of Genworth is looking for a Tax Manager to join our growing team. You will support our insurance businesses and assist with the preparation and review of the federal, state, and investments compliance for those legal entities. You will also assist with tax accounting for quarterly and annual reporting requirements. You will work with a cross-functional team of tax professionals, as well as business partners, to ensure the highest level of quality in our tax compliance and reporting processes. We are committed to building the tax technical, analytical, critical thinking, communication and leadership skills of our professionals and have a robust training program to support individual development. What you will be doing<ul><li>
Manage tax provision, compliance, and reporting for investment assets, including federal, state, and international tax filings.</li><li>
Partner with internal teams including investment front office, middle office, back office, legal, and accounting.</li><li>
Support ad hoc investment transaction analysis and tax planning in partner with investment management and external partners.</li><li>
Prepare and review quarterly and annual GAAP and STAT tax provisions for life insurance companies.</li></ul>
What you bring<ul><li>
BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field</li><li>
At least 5-7 years of work experience with at least 3-4 years of experience in tax accounting, compliance and reporting</li><li>
Basic understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and ASC 740</li><li>
Strong analytical skills, detail oriented with excellent organizational skills</li><li>
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and complete projects in a timely manner</li><li>

YOUR ROLE
The Client Strategy Manager will play a critical role in shaping how CareScout understands, reaches, and serves the many customers who make up the aging and caregiving ecosystem. Our products serve aging individuals, their families and support networks, and the providers and payors who guide them through important decisions. Each of these groups has distinct needs and considerations, and this role will bring clarity to how we define, segment, and serve them. To meet those needs, the role will focus on how we engage and support our institutional partners (e.g., long-term care insurers, affinity organizations), helping them to overcome barriers, activate solutions, and ultimately better serve the end customer. By translating insights into actionable strategies, the Client Strategy Manager will help CareScout reach customers more effectively and deliver solutions that create meaningful impact.
What you will be doing<ul><li>
Turn insights into strategy by building frameworks, recommendations, and activation plans that guide how CareScout reaches, serves, and supports clients</li><li>
Develop a holistic understanding of CareScout&rsquo;s diverse clients; Work closely with Marketing and CX to identify segments, surface their unique needs, and identify opportunities to better serve them</li><li>
Collaborate with Partnership Distribution team to engage and activate partners (e.g., long-term care insurers, affinity organizations), run analysis and make recommendations to help deliver value to the end customer</li><li>

For candidates based in the New York City Metropolitan area, the base salary pay range for this role starts at $125,000 up to the maximum of $160,000. An employee&rsquo;s pay position within the base salary pay range will be based on several factors at the time of this job posting including but not limited to geographic location, experience, and qualifications. In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible to participate in an incentive plan. The incentive plan is based on performance and the target earning opportunity is 10% of your base compensation. The final determination on base pay for this position will be based on multiple factors to ensure pay equity within the organization.

YOUR ROLE
You will provide advice, counsel, and subject-matter expertise to the CareScout and Genworth family of businesses. You will help support a wide variety of matters, such as supporting the administration of in-force life insurance policies and annuity contracts, providing advice on intellectual property matters, and reviewing and researching new or amended laws and regulations regarding data privacy, and assisting with data privacy projects and requests. You will report to a Legal Director and serve as an integral member of the team responsible for helping the business achieve its goals while complying with applicable laws and regulations.

Providing subject-matter expertise in support of the administration of in-force policies, including reviewing guardianships, conservatorships, trusts, power of attorney documents, and other similar documents as they relate to customer inquiries, claims, and requests</li><li>
