DESCRIPTION:</b></div><div>
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Software engineer to design, develop, and deliver automated system capabilities and big-data processing architectures.</div><div>
This position is hands-on. The selected candidate will be responsible for implementing system solutions - from concept development through integration, deployment, and performance validation.</div><div>
The role includes collaboration with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, customers, and program leadership to ensure solutions meet stakeholder requirements, security constraints, and technical performance objectives.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
RESPONSIBILITIES</b></div><div>
Define and implement architectures for automated systems and big-data ecosystems</div><div>
Develop automated data pipelines; perform data transformation, aggregation, and anomaly-detection tasks</div><div>
Architect and deliver local, distributed, and cloud-based data solutions</div><div>
Translate stakeholder needs into technical architectures, design specifications, and executable plans</div><div>
Design system technical standards and requirements across software, hardware, tools, and data platforms</div><div>
Implement proof-of-concept prototypes to validate design approaches</div><div>
Participate in design reviews and ensure compliance with engineering standards and cybersecurity controls</div><div>
Integrate AI/ML models into operational data flows</div><div>
Support test planning, system integration, and formal qualification events</div><div></div><div><b><br>
REQUIRED SKILLS :</b></div><div><b>
5+ years of Software engineering experience with C#, C++ OR 2+ years experience with Rust</b></div><div></div><div><b><br>
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:</b></div><div>
5+ years experience in designing and implementing distributed system architectures (e.g. Shared Memory, GRPC, Sockets, REST)</div><div>
2+ years working with big-data tools (eg Hadoop, Iceberg, Impala, Trino), or high-volume data pipelines (e.g. S3 protocol, SeaweedFS, MINIO)</div><div>
5+ years experience with Python, Object Oriented Programming (OOP), Data Oriented Design (RUST), APIs, Design Patterns, Clean Architecture, and Test Driven Development</div><div>
Familiarity with Airborne Sensing/Tracking systems (e.g., Radar, Electronic Warfare, and/or Electro Optical).</div><div></div><div><b><br>
REQUIRED EDUCATION:</b></div><div>
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related discipline (STEM)</div><div>

POSITION DESCRIPTION:</b></div><div>
Designs major components, or major portions of a functional system, or technically advanced prototype, promotional or specific products.</div><div>
Develop or improve products and facilitate manufacturing operations.</div><div>
Develops basic data and makes preliminary layouts, sketches, and notes necessary to present design proposal. Investigates pertinent design factors such as ease of manufacture, availability of materials and equipment, interchangeability, replace ability, strength-weight efficiency, and contractual specification requirements and cost.</div><div>
Coordinates with other organizations affected by design development.</div><div>
Makes layouts of assemblies and details parts of devices, mechanisms, structures, and products.</div><div>
Checks completed layouts and drawings for clarity, completeness, conformity to standards, procedures, specifications, and accuracy of calculations and dimensioning.</div><div>
Identifies design errors, omissions, and other deficiencies, and recommends revisions and/or improvements in design layout to responsible engineers or designers.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:</b></div><div>
Candidate must have at least 3 years experience with Creo design.</div><div>
Candidate must have at least 2 years experience with Windchill PLM/PDM</div><div>
Mechanical primary and secondary structures</div><div>
At least 1 year of experience with Concept development</div><div>
At least 1 year of experience with Design review content preparation</div><div>
Candidate must have at least 4 years experience with Create Finished 3D Models</div><div>
Candidate must have at least 2 years experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&amp;T)</div><div>

Responsibilities:</b></div><ul><li>
Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems.</li><li>
Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints.</li><li>
Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem.</li><li>
Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems.</li><li>
Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations.</li><li>
Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance.</li><li>
Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems.</li></ul><div></div><div><br>
