We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to support a Combat Mission Systems business in<br>
the area of ground combat vehicles. Once hired, you will work closely with one or more of our<br>
electronics suppliers to provide electrical engineering support in the manufacture of printed circuit<br>
board assembly (PCBA)/circuit card assembly (CCA) and the associated system Line Replaceable<br>
Unit (LRU) enclosures for one of our combat vehicle systems.</div><div></div><div><br>
In a nutshell: You'll be working on site in Huntsville with assigned suppliers to ensure an ongoing high-level of production quality is met. USA. To succeed, you must have experience in the design and manufacture of PCBAs/CCAs and the ability to help resolve supplier quality and manufacturing process concerns in direct support of production.</div><div></div><div><br>
Other responsibilities will include:</div><ul><li>
Investigating, evaluating, and supporting the resolution of supplier quality problems by conducting defect investigations, analyzing defect trends, and leading continuous improvement projects.</li><li>
Ensuring suppliers understand requirements and expectations; making progress reports<br>
and presenting findings.</li><li>
Supporting team led problem solving and root-cause analysis activities with assigned<br>
supplier to eliminate recurrence of non-conformances.</li><li>
Evaluating the impact of nonconforming product and assessing suppliers' corrective actions</li><li>
Helping suppliers with process improvements to ensure resolution of manufacturing process concerns.</li><li>
Driving 'Zero Defect' mentality within the supply base.</li><li>
Participating in Technical Interchange Meetings within the Integrated Product Team.</li></ul><div></div><div><br>
Requirements:</div><ul><li>
US Citizenship is required for consideration</li><li>
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Related Technical Discipline</li><li>
5+ years of directly related experience</li><li>
Exposure to Failure Analysis, Root Cause Analysis and Corrective/ Preventative Actions</li><li>
Certification to IPC-A-600 is strongly desired, Working knowledge and familiarity with IPC-A-600, IPC J-STD-001 is required. Must have familiarity with, and experience in, IPC-A-600 and IPC J-STD- 001, as well as subordinate IPC standards/guidelines.</li><li>
Ability to travel locally approximately 10%</li><li>
Must be Effective, practical problem solver using structured problem-solving methods and systems</li><li>
Have a solid understanding of technical drawing requirements with ability to determine compliance</li><li>
Computer skills including MS Office Suite and related industry software applications are required</li><li>
Effective, clear communicator with strong written, verbal, and presentation skills</li><li>
Design of PCBA/CCA for aerospace or defense industries is strongly desired</li><li>
Working knowledge of MIL-PRF-31032, MIL-PRF-55110, IPC-A- 610, and IPC-A-620 is a plus</li><li>
Fabrication processes, equipment, test, and instrumentation common in the Aerospace and Defense Industries desired.</li><li>
Production line validation, test, equipment, instrumentation, and qualification of fabricated products</li><li>
Working knowledge of AS9100 Quality System, AS9102C First Article Requirements, AS9145 APQP/PPAP Requirements, and Source Inspection.</li><li>
Experience with Low voltage (28Vdc) and/or high voltage (610Vdc) electrical power distribution and management desired</li><li>
Servo amplifier design, manufacturing, and test experience preferred</li><li>
Working knowledge of design for environmental qualification including EMI/EMC design and qualification principles a plus</li><li>
IPC-6012, IPC-6013, IPC-6018, subordinate IPC standards/guidelines, MIL-PRF-31032, MIL-PRF-55110, MIL-STD-883, MIL-PRF- 38534, and ASME Y14.5.</li></ul><div></div><div><br>

Experience with schematic capture in Xpedition is valuable.</div><div>

REQUIRED EDUCATION</b></div><div>
