POSITION DESCRIPTION:</b></div><div>
Designs major components, or major portions of a functional system, or technically advanced prototype, promotional or specific products.</div><div>
Develop or improve products and facilitate manufacturing operations.</div><div>
Develops basic data and makes preliminary layouts, sketches, and notes necessary to present design proposal. Investigates pertinent design factors such as ease of manufacture, availability of materials and equipment, interchangeability, replace ability, strength-weight efficiency, and contractual specification requirements and cost.</div><div>
Coordinates with other organizations affected by design development.</div><div>
Makes layouts of assemblies and details parts of devices, mechanisms, structures, and products.</div><div>
Checks completed layouts and drawings for clarity, completeness, conformity to standards, procedures, specifications, and accuracy of calculations and dimensioning.</div><div>
Identifies design errors, omissions, and other deficiencies, and recommends revisions and/or improvements in design layout to responsible engineers or designers.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:</b></div><div>
Candidate must have at least 3 years experience with Creo design.</div><div>
Candidate must have at least 2 years experience with Windchill PLM/PDM</div><div>
Mechanical primary and secondary structures</div><div>
At least 1 year of experience with Concept development</div><div>
At least 1 year of experience with Design review content preparation</div><div>
Candidate must have at least 4 years experience with Create Finished 3D Models</div><div>
Candidate must have at least 2 years experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&amp;T)</div><div>
Candidate must have at least 2 years experience with Complex Mechanical/Electrical Concepts</div><div>

REQUIREMENTS</b></p><div><b>
Education and Experience:</b></div><ul><li><b>
Active </b><b>Secret Clearance</b></li><li>
Bachelors degree from an accredited college with 6-10 years of professional experience; or 4-8 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree.</li><li>
4 - 6 Years experience with Software Development (C, C++, LabView preferred)</li><li>
4 - 6 Years experience with Production.</li><li>
6 + Years experience of Test Equipment Design</li><li>
6 + Years experience of Electronic Testing</li><li>
6 + Years experience of Mechanical Testing</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
DESIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:</b></div><ul><li>
LabView/LabWindows CVI, NI experience in both development and maintenance capacities on complex systems</li><li>
Proficient SW skills in C, C++, coupled with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) HW integration expertise (switches, VXI/PXI chassis, EO testing, automation)</li><li>
Automated Test equipment development/maintenance experience in a high-volume production environment</li><li>
Source program is an Electro-Optic sensor solution for military platforms.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Responsibilities:</b></div><ul><li>
Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems.</li><li>
Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints.</li><li>
Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem.</li><li>
Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems.</li><li>
Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations.</li><li>
Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance.</li><li>
Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems.</li></ul><div></div><div><br>
