 Reporting to the Patient Support Supervisor, the Patient Support Specialist is responsible for resolving inbound patient requests related to billing and appointment scheduling in a multi-channel environment. The ideal candidate will be motivated by joining a quickly growing organization.
 
 
 
 Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 AM to 5 PM CST
 
 
 
 
 Compensation: $20.50/hour + 5% annual bonus
 
 
 
 
 Patient Support Specialist Job Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Schedule appointments for new and established patients while considering patient insurance, schedule templates and patient/provider preferences
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor multi-channel inbound patient requests to ensure timely response and accurate resolutions
 </li>
 <li>
 Work with patients and insurance carriers to resolve patient billing inquiries
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible for maintaining individual and departmental goals including Average Handle Time, Service Level, Abandonment Rate, Call Quality, and others
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain confidentiality of all patient information with a full understanding of HIPAA requirements
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrates flexibility to meet the needs of all internal and external customers including changes to workflows, work volume and work schedules
 </li>
 <li>

 Skills/Qualifications:

 2-4 years in a healthcare environment required, preferably in billing, front office administration or call center

 Must possess strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to multi-task while maintaining the highest-level of quality in every patient interaction
 </li>

Patient Support Specialist

We are looking for passionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners for both full and part time roles. The ideal candidate will be motivated by joining a quickly growing organization, and excited to help us improve the care experience for patients and providers. Applicants must be Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certified, licensed to practice, and have experience working with adult and/or child and adolescent populations.</div><div> 
Key Responsibilities:</div><div><ul><li>
Provide psychiatric care, including evaluations, follow-ups, and urgent and emergent consultations to individuals with mental health needs</li><li>
Document and navigate EHR independently</li><li>
Maintain strict client confidentiality</li><li>
Participate in the creation of an individualized treatment plan after discussing the case with the mental health care team, collecting and reviewing psychosocial data, medical history, nursing assessment, and other pertinent information</li><li>
Evaluate patients for the need for a higher level of care, including hospitalization</li><li>
Provide patient education, specifically around issues related to medications and treatment adherence, and aftercare services</li><li>
Work closely with Supervising physician to ensure improved patient outcomes and high-quality care</li><li>
Diagnose and treat patients from different backgrounds/diverse backgrounds in a respectful manner</li><li>
Document and navigate EHR independently and in a timely manner.</li><li>
Work collaboratively with clinical leadership, billing, and compliance to ensure accurate and appropriate documentation.</li></ul></div></div><div><div>

We are actively recruiting for passionate Advance Practice Providers (Psych PA or PMHNP) in the greater Austin market who can partner with us to achieve that mission. As a Behavioral Health Provider you will provide psychiatric healthcare services, which may include initial mental health evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, medication management and supportive psychotherapy as you deem clinically appropriate based on your patient&rsquo;s needs.

Hybrid work schedule.
