This is an exciting time for Geon&rsquo;s industrial business and our newly acquired Foster medical business, as we grow both organically and inorganically.</div>
<div></div><div>The Marketing Communications Specialist will develop and execute strategic communications initiatives across the Geon and Foster businesses. This role is ideal for a dynamic communicator with a strong background in B2B marketing, content development, and brand storytelling. The successful candidate will collaborate cross-functionally to craft compelling messaging, support product launches, and elevate brand visibility across multiple channels.</div>
<div></div><div><b>Primary Responsibilities:</b></div>
<div><i>Communications Planning and Content Development:</i></div>
<ul><li>Develop and implement integrated marketing communications plans that align with business goals and brand positioning</li>
<li>Ensure consistent brand voice and visual identity across all touchpoints. Support brand evolution and messaging refinement as needed</li>
<li>Collaborate with Business Development, Innovation, and Sales to translate insights into effective marketing and product launch materials, highlighting the company&rsquo;s value proposition through various media</li>
</ul>
<div></div><div><i>Demand Generation:</i></div>
<ul><li>Create high-impact content including brochures, presentations, case studies, newsletters, email campaigns, and web copy tailored to technical and commercial audiences.</li>
<li>Manage participation in 6-10 trade shows per year, coordinating development and production of booth design and logistics, generating pre-show publicity, editing technical presentations, and preparing/submitting industry award applications.</li>
<li>Support additional campaigns such as social media, email, webinars, PR, and thought leadership initiatives. Work closely with Digital Marketing Specialist and coordinate with external agencies and vendors as needed.</li>

<div></div><div><i>Internal Communications:</i></div>
<ul><li>Partner with Human Resources in developing internal messaging and employee newsletter to foster alignment and build culture.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain industry event calendar, reviewing periodically with commercial and technical leaders to adjust as needed to meet business goals.</li>
<li>Support new commercial employees&rsquo; onboarding process by highlighting available Marketing resources.</li>

<div></div><div><b>Key Goals &amp; Deliverables:</b></div>
<ul><li>Campaign and content engagement (ex: click-through/open rates, social media shares/comments, trade show leads)</li>
<li>High quality, error-free, and on-brand marketing content and product launch materials, delivered on time</li>
<li>Offline marketing budget management (ex: trade shows, print, events) to maximize ROI, including expenditure tracking and reporting</li>
<li>With HR, increase employee engagement through newsletters, event calendars, and onboarding support</li>
</ul>
<div></div><div><b>Skills &amp; Competencies:</b></div>
<ul><li>Client-service mentality, with ability to bring new and creative ideas to the organization</li>
<li>Clear and concise communicator, with excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills for technical and non-technical audiences</li>
<li>Ability to create compelling content using creative tools (InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite, video editing)</li>
<li>Great eye for detail and insistence on error-free work product</li>
<li>Organizational skills to manage and prioritize multiple projects and stakeholders</li>
<li>Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, constantly evolving business environment</li>
</ul>
<div></div><div><b>Experience and Education:</b></div>
<ul><li>5+ years of relevant B2B communications experience in a manufacturing-related industry, such as chemicals, plastics, medical devices, or industrial equipment</li>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related field is preferred, although equivalent work experience will be considered</li>
<li>Experience supporting multiple brands or business units is strongly preferred</li>
</ul>
<div></div><div><b>Work Environment &amp; Physical Environment:</b></div>
<ul><li>Typical office setting, regularly performing repeated motions (ex: computer work) and remaining in a stationary position (ex: standing or sitting) for prolonged periods</li>
<li>Periodically required to lift items up to 25 lbs (ex: trade show exhibit components)</li>
<li>Occasionally required to move through laboratory and manufacturing plants, necessitating adherence to safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)</li>
</ul>
<div></div><div><b>Work Location and Travel Requirements:</b></div>
<ul><li>Hybrid role, based in either Geon&rsquo;s Westlake, OH office 3-4 days/week</li>
<li>Domestic US travel to several trade shows each year, approximately 10%</li></ul></div>
