<div><div>The Assistant Director, Admissions is responsible for coordinating and supporting recruitment, admissions, and enrollment activities for multiple undergraduate and graduate health sciences programs. This position serves as a primary point of contact for prospective students throughout the admissions process and works collaboratively with faculty, academic leadership, and university offices to ensure a seamless applicant experience. The Assistant Director, Admissions promotes the institution&rsquo;s health sciences programs, supports enrollment goals, and assists in the implementation of recruitment strategies designed to attract a diverse and highly qualified student population.<br>
</div><div><b>Key Responsibilities and Duties</b><br>
</div><div>Recruitment and Outreach</div><ul>
<li>Develop and implement recruitment strategies for undergraduate and graduate health sciences programs.</li>
<li>Represent the institution at recruitment events, college fairs, virtual information sessions, open houses, and professional conferences.</li>
<li>Build and maintain relationships with prospective students, academic advisors, community colleges, healthcare organizations, and partner institutions.</li>
<li>Conduct outreach to prospective undergraduate and graduate students through phone, email, virtual meetings, and in-person interactions.</li>
<li>Respond to inquiries from prospective students in a timely and professional manner.</li>

Admissions and Application Management</div><ul>
<li>Review and process applications for assigned undergraduate and graduate programs.</li>
<li>Evaluate applicant materials for completeness, eligibility, and compliance with institutional and program-specific requirements.</li>
<li>Monitor applicant progress and communicate application status, admissions requirements, deadlines, and next steps.</li>
<li>Coordinate with faculty admissions committees and program directors regarding applicant review and admissions decisions.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate admissions records and applicant data within the admissions CRM and student information systems.</li></ul><div><br>

Applicant Support and Customer Service</div><ul>
<li>Provide accurate and timely information regarding program requirements, admissions criteria, tuition, prerequisite coursework, and enrollment procedures.</li>
<li>Provide individualized guidance to applicants throughout the admissions process.</li>
<li>Support admitted students through onboarding and transition activities to improve enrollment yield and student engagement.</li>
<li>Deliver high-quality customer service while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.</li></ul><div><br>

Collaboration and Administrative Support</div><ul>
<li>Work collaboratively with academic departments, advisors, and faculty.</li>
<li>Participate in admissions committee meetings and recruitment planning activities.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with institutional policies, accreditation standards, and applicable federal and state regulations.</li>

Performs other duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position. Hybrid working environment with both in office and remote work each week. Periodic local travel for recruitment activities. Occasional evening and weekend work required during peak recruitment periods and special events.</div></div>

<div><div><b>Minimum Qualifications:</b></div>
<p>Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in an appropriate area of specialization plus 2 years of relevant professional experience, or, a Master&rsquo;s degree or higher in a relevant area of study. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.</p><br>

<div><div>The Lead Accountant is responsible for applying generally accepted accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, prepare and review accurate and timely reconciliations, and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures are met. This position ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions to the general ledger.<br>
</div><ul><li>Monitoring staff accountant work, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting financial analysis on a daily, monthly, and quarterly basis to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with GAAP and University policies. Establish clear expectations, review standards, and deadlines to support timely completion of deliverables aligned with the financial close cycle.</li></ul><p></p><div><br>

Provides ongoing coaching, mentorship, and technical guidance to staff accountant to strengthen accounting expertise, analytical skills, and professional development to build a high-performing team.</li></ul><br>

Serves as a lead resource overseeing the accurate recording, monitoring, and reconciliation of all cash transactions and bank accounts across the University. Works closely with Treasury to support cash positioning and cash flow monitoring, ensuring alignment between accounting records and treasury activity. Oversees bank reconciliations and related general ledger accounts, ensuring discrepancies are identified, investigated, and resolved in a timely manner.</li></ul><br>

Leads the analysis and reconciliation of asset accounts, including cash, receivables, and other balance sheet accounts, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and proper supporting documentation. Reviews and approves journal entries to confirm transactions are recorded appropriately in the general ledger in accordance with accounting standards and internal controls. Identifies, investigates, and resolves variances, discrepancies, and unusual transactions, implementing corrective actions and process improvements as needed.</li></ul><br>

Partners with departments across the University to ensure accurate recording of financial activity, proper classification of transactions, and adherence to established policies and procedures. Serves as a key liaison between Accounting, Treasury, and operational units, facilitating communication, resolving issues, and supporting financial initiatives that impact multiple departments. Strengthens internal controls by enforcing reconciliation standards, review procedures, and documentation requirements, ensuring the integrity and reliability of financial data.</li></ul><br>
