DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
<ul>
<li>Aid in analyzing business problems in cooperation with the production and support departments to determine if training is required</li>
<li>Assist with designing custom courses to meet the technology needs of our internal clients using a variety of delivery methods. (Instructor Led, ELearning, Documentation, Presentations, Webinars, etc)</li>
<li>Assist with planning and implementation of custom and off the shelf software as it relates to user education</li>
<li>Conduct training classes for Home Office personnel, personnel located in the County Offices (agents, CSRs, County Secretaries) as well as our remote users (Field U/W, DSMs, etc)</li>
<li>Write user documentation and job aids in order to provide self-directed application assistance.</li>
<li>Assist with the administration to the company LMS. Upload/update courseware, tier 2 LMS support for the Support Desk, perform miscellaneous functions such as course assignments and gradebook management.</li>
<li>Maintain a high-level of technical expertise of software applications used by our user community.</li>

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS
<ul>
<li>The Training Specialist II must be able to independently learn application software quickly in order to develop a training objectives and goals for adult learners with varied skill levels.</li>
<li>Remain current on technology and procedures.</li>
<li>Continued growth in insurance industry knowledge.</li>
<li>Ability to backup Support Desk personnel on specific applications when needed.</li>
<li>Some day and overnight travel will be required.</li>
<li>Must have and maintain a valid Georgia driver's license and maintain a driving record that complies with the Underwriting guides for the Mutual Insurance Company.</li>
<li>Ability to perform the duties of the Training Specialist I.</li>

 QUALIFICATION, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

A bachelor's degree and 4 years experience providing training to users in an information technology environment or 7 years equivalent experience training users in an information technology environment; extensive knowledge of the latest versions of Windows OS and Microsoft Office products; experience writing technical documentation. Experience conducting classroom training required. Excellent technical and business writing day skills required. Occasional and overnight travel required. Experience providing support for an LMS and experience using Content Authoring software desired. Actively pursuing or commitment to begin Training Certification.

None. However, this employee must be able to oversee/review work of the IT Training Specialist I and trainers from other home office production departments.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position requires the incumbent to set up remote classrooms. Loading computer equipment in/out of vehicles and moving equipment using a two-wheeled dolly is required. Arranging tables, chairs, projectors/screens are also required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for extended periods of time; sit; use hands to finger, handle controls; and talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is also required to walk and stoop. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision requirements for this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

IT Training Specialist II

<div>THIS POSITION WILL INITIALLY BE BASED IN THE HOME OFFICE LOCATED IN MACON GA WITH THE POSSIBILITY TO TRANSITION TO WORK HYBRID AFTER TRAINING AND CONTINGENT UPON JOB PERFORMANCE.

DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

<ul><li>Assist GFB employees and County Office personnel, primarily via the telephone, in accomplishing their corporate mission by transferring their knowledge and understanding of the technology to the employee for their use in performing their part in providing service to our members.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Independently research, resolve and document production problems and questions.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Develop support team technical procedural documentation.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Send communications to the user community regarding system availability and status.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Proactively monitor and troubleshoot as necessary the connectivity between the county offices and the home office to ensure users have access to the data and information they need to service our members. Also troubleshoot user connectivity failures in the home office.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Assist with the setup and configuration required to enable system access by authorized users.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Assist with hardware/software testing and performance measurements.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Must be able to assume the duties and responsibilities of the Support Desk Specialist I position.</li></ul>

QUALIFICATION, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

A bachelor's degree and 3 years experience as a Help Desk Representative in a technology field or an Associates Degree and 4 years experience in a technology field or a High School Diploma/equivalent and 6 years experience as a help desk representative in a technology field; must successfully attained the 28 hours of study for Customer Service Certification within 60 days of employment; working knowledge of Win7 OS or greater, PC hardware in a LAN/WAN environment; strong knowledge of standard PC application software (MS Office Suite), effective interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Knowledge of GFBMIC communications network and configurations preferred.

 REASONING SKILLS:

Use the software detailed in the Computer Skills section below as well as their knowledge of PC hardware, peripherals, communication equipment to diagnosis and resolve client issues. The diagnostic process includes probing the caller for appropriate situational data, prioritize the severity of the issue, solve the issue through instructions to the caller or by remoting in to the appropriate hardware device. The incumbent must through the above techniques identify the root problem, then develop the steps to resolve the problem. The incumbent may choose to step the caller through the resolution or to acquire access to their PC to resolve the issue.

If the issue cannot be resolved, follow proper escalation procedures. For escalated calls, the case will be tracked with the caller throughout the process until resolved.

IT Support Desk Specialist II

<div>DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
<ul>
<li><ul><li>Determine and report on subrogation potential to Office Claims Representatives and advise appropriate investigative actions to be completed.</li>
<li>Determine liability, identify subrogation rights, confirms damages, prepares for litigation, status reports, and negotiate subrogation settlements in the best advantage of the company, considering factors such as litigation cost, value of the insured's auto claim, continued recovery attempt expense, comparative negligence of the insured, statutory limits, and current Case Law.</li>
<li>Provide for subrogation data accumulation and documentation.</li>
<li>Set up and maintain subrogation claim files for each claim</li>
<li>Update system information concerning subrogation claim status; Print or request printing of necessary data from claim system to meet external documentation requirements responsible for receiving, reviewing, and issuing demands on all automobile subrogation claims where recovery potential exists.</li>
<li>They will conduct research on subrogation matters to determine the best collection method to apply to include communicating with adverse parties and their insurance carrier on monetary recovery and working with legal counsel on those claims where litigation exposure exists; and</li>
<li>Responsible for constructive use of outside vendors to assist with recovery when necessary.</li>
</ul>

QUALIFICATION, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Computer Skills:

Must possess intermediate skills and be proficient or have demonstrated aptitude with computers including experience with Excel, Word, and web-based systems. Proficiency in call center reporting a must.
