<div><b>JOB SUMMARY</b></div>
<div>The purpose of this job is to provide effective customer service to Georgia Lottery Corporation (GLC) and Coin Operated Amusement Machine (COAM) retailers.</div>
<div></div>
<div><b>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</b></div>
<div>Duties include, but are not limited to:</div>
<ul><li>Initiates collection efforts with retailers.</li>
<li>Negotiates and implements repayment agreements for current outstanding accounts.</li>
<li>Performs daily reconciliations, including account adjustments and accounts receivable non-sufficient funds subsidiary and general ledger postings.</li>
<li>Prepares recurring journal entries and various nonstandard journal entries.</li>
<li>Researches and corresponds with retailers regarding outstanding balances, accounting issues and other problems.</li>
<li>Maintains accuracy of assigned departmental financial and accounting reports.</li>
<li>Reconciles weekly Accounts Receivable accounts for assigned retailers and general ledger accounts.</li>
<li>Prepares daily, weekly and monthly reports as requested (including weekly reconciliation of retailer billing).</li>
<li>Responds to questions, complaints and requests for information by telephone, in person or by mail from citizens, employees, etc.</li>
<li>Prepares, maintains and updates files and logs following prescribed methods.</li>

<div></div><div><b>KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS</b></div>
<ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in business-related field preferred.</li>
<li>One or more years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.</li>
<li>Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience, which provides the requisites, knowledge, skills and abilities for this job.</li>
