This position will support project needs by computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) for a variety of environmental, civil and geotechnical engineering design projects. We are seeking a motivated individual who can develop design layouts, grading plans, Plan &amp; Profile, Section Views, and details for civil infrastructure and geotechnical engineering projects, including landfill cell/closure designs, industrial remediation, Dams/Levees, stormwater improvements, and environmental compliance. Projects also include structural systems and deep foundation design and there are many opportunities to contribute from the conceptual design stage through construction.</p><p></p><p><br>

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Draft, edit, and finalize design plans and details using appropriate and efficient methods and adhering to Geosyntec design/drafting standards.</li><li>
Understand and visualize overall civil/geotechnical engineering concepts, such as grading / site layouts, and translating abstract concepts to design drawings.</li><li>
Analyze sketches, notes and other input material to determine best approach to complete a grading or modeling task or prepare a design drawing set.</li><li>
Manage the production of drawing sets from creation, markup and modification based on overall design.</li><li>
Work collaboratively with Autodesk Construction Cloud with other Geosyntec CADD practitioners to prepare design drawings and details and reviewing completed work products to ensure quality.</li><li>
Participate in our CAD Action Group, by supporting, networking, and collaborating to improve CAD standards, workflows, and efficiencies across the company.</li></ul>
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
<ul><li>Minimum of Associate&rsquo;s degree in Drafting and a minimum of 10 years in a professional civil engineering or consulting setting; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the responsibilities of the position. (required)</li><li>
Proficiency in the use of the latest release of AutoCAD Civil 3D. (required)</li><li>
Experience with Autodesk Revit. (preferred)Experience with interoperability between Civil 3D and Revit (preferred)</li><li>
Experience developing and working with survey data, grading plans, cross-sections, alignments, profiles, three-dimensional TIN surfaces, and earthwork volumes for landfills and other large civil design projects. (required)</li><li>
Ability to read, analyze and interpret red line drawings from Engineers, CAD Managers, or others on the project team members. (required)</li><li>
Experience using/incorporating land or aerial surveying/mapping data and files. (required)</li><li>
Strong reasoning, mathematical, and geometrical skills. (required)</li><li>
Understanding of Microsoft Office applications, including Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel. (required)</li><li>
Strong communication skills to include the ability to understand and follow complex verbal and written instructions, and the ability to interact effectively to maintain a team environment. (required)</li><li>
Strong organizational skills required.</li><li>
Civil / Environmental experience with landfill, roadway, and stormwater infrastructure design projects. (preferred)</li><li>
Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D certification (or the ability to become certified within one year of hire date). (preferred)</li><li>
Candidates will be expected to take a 3rd party Civil 3D assessment and complete a typical Civil 3D homework assignment.</li></ul></div>

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Civil design, coastal design, geotechnical investigation, and site layout.</li><li>
Geotechnical engineering analyses such as slope stability, settlement, bearing capacity, and seismic;</li><li>
Geotechnical and site characterization;</li><li>
Review factual design reports, borehole logs and laboratory testing</li><li>
Preparation of geotechnical field investigation specifications and geotechnical interpretive reports</li><li>
Prepare foundation and pile design as well as ground improvement recommendations</li><li>
Developing engineering solutions to challenging structural and geotechnical problems and site conditions</li><li>
Coordination and support with marine and structural team on projects</li><li>
Oversee waterfront structure and marine infrastructure projects
</li><li>Design and engineering for a variety of areas such as harbors, marinas, vessel mooring and berthing structures, bulkheads and seawalls, breakwaters and shore protection structures, shoreline stabilization and sediment management.</li><li>
Development and management of instrumentation monitoring systems;</li><li>
Small project/task management and proposal preparation support;</li><li>
Preparation of engineering reports, design calculations, drawings, technical specifications, and permit applications; and</li><li>
Attend meetings with clients and regulatory authorities.</li></ul>
Education and Licensure:
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in civil, coastal, structural or geotechnical engineering. (required)</li><li>
Advanced degree in civil, coastal, structural or geotechnical engineering. (preferred)</li><li>

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform intermediate to advanced desktop administration and client/desktop service and support in supporting, maintaining, and managing IT endpoint assembly, installation, imaging, configuration, optimization, maintenance, repair, testing, and upgrading client-facing technologies.</li><li>
Perform the imaging of computers using SCCM, creating bootable USB drives.</li><li>
Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics for optimum performance by users of desktop computers, laptops, handheld/wireless devices, printers, copiers, and related computing technologies, adhering to departmental procedures and company policy.</li><li>
Support intermediate to advanced Office 365 services.</li><li>
Administer appropriate levels-related security controls, governance, compliance, and data loss prevention to secure enterprise computing assets from vulnerabilities and threats (e.g., anti-virus, anti-spam, anti-spyware, etc.).</li><li>
Efficiently manage, research, and troubleshoot relative incoming incident and service management requests with the ability to prioritize accordingly, escalating requests as appropriate to other IT team members in a fast-paced team environment (telephone, email, and tracking systems).</li><li>
Ensure complex customer needs are monitored, addressed, documented, and resolved promptly and effectively through customer satisfaction.</li><li>
