As a senior member of our Water Resources practice, you will lead complex projects related to water supply management, water rights permitting, and groundwater and surface water management. In this role, you will combine technical leadership with client relationship management and business development, supporting both existing and new client opportunities. You will contribute to complex technical projects while helping build and lead teams of experienced professionals. Our Water Resources group supports projects across the U.S., including water supply development and management, water rights, mining hydrogeology, contaminant hydrogeology, regulatory permitting, and source water protection.</div><p></p><p><br>

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Strategic business planning to segment and target specific industrial, commercial and municipal clients for projects such as water supply planning/studies, groundwater and surface water modeling, water availability, use and re-use, as well as regulatory considerations for water rights permitting; focused on the Florida and/or Southeastern United States Water Resources market;</li><li>
Engagement with project and operations staff to align Geosyntec&rsquo;s full-service delivery capabilities with market demands;</li><li>
Serve in the capacity of a Client Account Manager on selected accounts deemed critical to Geosyntec&rsquo;s Water Resources market;</li><li>
Active participation in professional societies, conferences, and meetings that will increase the visibility of the firm to potential clients and recruits. Make contributions to the profession that will result in individual recognition as an industry leader;</li><li>
Project directorship, including ensuring client expectations are understood and met, budgets are adhered to, quality objectives are met, and follow-on work is attainted &ndash; Strategically related to projects involving:<ul><li>
Hydrogeologic studies for water supply planning/management,</li><li>
Regulatory water use permitting through the governing Water Management Districts;</li><li>
Modeling studies of aquifer systems;</li><li>
Installation and testing of groundwater supply wells (and monitoring wells), and</li><li>
Permitting and installation of Underground Injection Control (UIC) wells (Class I, V and VI).</li></ul></li><li>
Recruiting, managing, and mentoring junior staff and mid-career engineers and scientists;</li><li>
Reviewing and leading the preparation of major proposals;</li><li>
Providing senior leadership subject matter expertise in meetings with clients, regulatory personnel, and other parties;</li><li>
Technical Project delivery and project-manager responsibility for scoping, performing, managing, and delivering multiple concurrent project assignments;</li><li>
Preparing technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals;</li><li>

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Coordinate and lead all aspects of the competitive proposal preparation - from initial planning through delivery and post-award, including internal and client debriefs on wins or losses;</li><li>
Review and hone messages/win themes within written and visual information for client presentations; identify appropriate story-boarding of proposal/quals layout;</li><li>
Draft content such as introduction, win themes, proof statements, relevant experience, project teams/organizational charts;</li><li>
Overall responsibility for proposal/SOQ criteria and compliance, oversee production, and arrange for on-time deliveries;</li><li>
Develop scheduling and tracking systems for individual pursuit and proposal elements and be responsible for distribution &amp; receiving input from key technical leads and decision makers;</li><li>
Develop systems to extract, categorize, and retrieve information related to markets, clients, consultants, personnel, projects, prior proposals, boilerplate, visuals, and mailing lists;</li><li>
Identify BD leaders and help connect seller-doers across disciplines, and branches, and/or business development initiatives;</li><li>

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
