Geriatric House Call Dentistry

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our rapidly expanding mobile dental practice, serving the Philadelphia regional area. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for patient care and be adept at performing various dental procedures in a mobile, home-based environment. The dentist will be provided with all necessary equipment to serve homebound seniors and those with limited mobility. This is a unique opportunity to provide essential dental care to underserved populations, making a real impact in the community. Additionally, there is significant potential for growth into a full-time position as the practice continues to expand, offering both professional development and long-term career prospects.Duties<ul><li>Perform thorough dental examinations and create individualized treatment plans</li><li>Conduct dental extractions, restorations, and other dental procedures as needed</li><li>Fabricate dental prosthetics (e.g., dentures) and ensure proper fitting</li><li>Record vital signs and maintain accurate medical documentation and dental records</li><li>Educate patients and caregivers on oral health and post-treatment care</li><li>Provide compassionate care and ensure patients are comfortable throughout procedures</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school</li><li>Licensed to practice dentistry in the state of Pennsylvania</li><li>Proven experience in general dentistry, with a focus on patient-centered care</li><li>Proficiency in dental extractions, denture fabrication, and other general procedures</li><li>Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently</li><li>Experience with geriatric or special needs patients is a plus</li><li>Familiarity with dental software systems</li></ul>If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of homebound and underserved patients, we would love to hear from you!
