Nicholson Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning in Holliston, MA and Gervais Mechanical in Auburn, MA are looking for an HVAC Technical Trainer to oversee both locations. The HVAC Technical Trainer will design and conduct training and development programs to improve individual and organizational performance. The trainer determines training objectives, and assesses technical needs through surveys, interviews with employees, or consultation with managers. The trainer also provides technical support to field, office personnel, and frontline managers.
RESPONSIBILITIES and DUTIES<ul><li>
Writes training programs, including outlines, text, handouts, and tests.</li><li>
Offer specific technical training programs to help workers maintain or improve job skills.</li><li>
Lectures class on safety, installation, programming, maintenance, machinery, and equipment, following outline, handouts, and texts.</li><li>
Present information using a variety of instructional techniques or formats, such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, or lectures.</li><li>
Administers written and practical exams and writes performance reports to evaluate trainees' performance.</li><li>
Obtain, organize, or develop training procedure manuals, guides, or course materials, such as handouts or visual materials.</li><li>
Conducts course feedback evaluation to determine measurements of training success or areas of improvement.</li><li>
Maintains quality training by establishing and enforcing organization standards of practice and protocol.</li><li>
Monitor, evaluate, or record training activities or program effectiveness and file documentation.</li><li>
Develop alternative training methods if expected improvements are not seen.</li><li>
Evaluate training materials used for instruction, such as outlines, texts, or handouts.</li><li>
Evaluate modes of training delivery, such as in-person or virtual to optimize training effectiveness, training costs, or environmental impacts.</li><li>
Keep current with developments in area of expertise by reading current publications, books, articles, etc.</li><li>
Attend meeting or seminars to obtain information for use in training programs or to inform management of training program status.</li><li>
Monitor training costs and prepare budget reports to justify expenditures.</li><li>
Design, schedule, and administer meetings, classes, and demonstrations to conduct training.</li><li>
Devise programs to develop maximum potential among employees in lower-level technician positions.</li><li>
Develop or implement training programs related to efficiency, recycling, or other issues with environmental impacts.</li><li>
Provide support on nights and weekends to technicians that are running into technical difficulties and coach through diagnostic if needed, or discuss what issue could be.</li><li>
Ride-alongs for training.</li><li>
Provide assistance and site visit if needed for customer concerns on technical inquiries after multiple warranty or callbacks.</li><li>
Monitor and record tool Co-Op program. Maintain policies in accordance with our Program.</li></ul>
What do you need?<ul><li>
Minimum 7 years Residential HVAC Service experience</li><li>
Minimum 5 years Training &amp; Development experience</li><li>
High school GED or equivalent</li><li>
EPA 608 and Lead Renovator Certification preferred.</li><li>
Clean and neat appearance</li><li>
Strong customer service and communication skills</li><li>
Hard-working and motivated</li></ul>

Knowledge of HVAC is not mandatory - we will train you, but prior In-Home Sales experience is a must!
This is a 100% commission position.
Leads are coming in and we need help! There is no cold calling; appointments are set for you by our skilled Sales Assistants.

POSITION SUMMARY
Provide direct support to the Sales Department in the ongoing development of existing and prospective Gervais customers to ensure that the Sales department is able to meet its defined monthly goals and growth targets.
Role and Responsibilities
Our team is seeking experienced, motivated sales professionals, looking to excel in our growing organization. Our sales representatives have the opportunity and potential to earn into the six-figure range. The sales representative position will consist of analyzing customer needs for HVAC equipment, creating a sales proposal, finalizing the sale and following up with each customer to ensure complete satisfaction.
Responsibilities and Duties<ul><li><ul><li>Provide customers with solutions for their HVAC and other home comfort needs</li><li>Consult with potential and existing customers to provide a customized HVAC system solution including our exclusive maintenance program</li><li>Serve as the leader of the sales process to ensure customer satisfaction</li><li>Conduct post-sale follow-up to ensure all sales agreements have been fulfilled to customer satisfaction</li><li>Follow-up with existing sales bids and leads to offer any additional information as needed to convert them into sales</li><li>Overcome technical and business objections of prospective customers</li><li>Emphasize salable features, quotes, prices and credit terms and prepare sales orders for jobs sold</li><li>Build and maintain customer relationships</li><li>Participate in various sales activities to support corporate efforts including, but not limited to, trade shows, referral groups, etc.</li><li>Must be willing and able to work evenings and weekends</li></ul></li></ul>

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required 
Associate degree (two year college or technical school): Preferred
