GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION</b></p></div><div><div><p><br>
This role ensures effective development, management, and compliance of federal (GSA, SourceAmerica), state, and commercial contracts&mdash;driving operational excellence and adherence to all regulatory standards. The role advances Gesher Human Services&rsquo; mission by leveraging contract performance to create, support, and sustain inclusive employment pathways for individuals with disabilities.</p><p><b>
 QUALIFICATIONS</b></p></div></div><br>

Education:</i></p><ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalency required. Bachelor's degree preferred.</li></ul><p>
 <i>Other:</i></p><ul><li>
Four years relevant work experience required.</li><li>
Experience with federal (GSA, SourceAmerica) and/or state janitorial contracts preferred.</li><li>
Work experience with individuals with disabilities.</li><li>
Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.</li><li>
Strong oral and written communication skills.</li><li>
Well-developed organizational skills with ability to meet deadlines.</li><li>
Must be able to pass background check to obtain state and federal clearances.</li><li>
Driving record must meet safe driving standards as established by Agency insurance carrier.</li><li>
Valid Michigan driver&rsquo;s license.</li></ul><h1 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
 </b><b>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</b></h1><ul><li>
Prepare initial or renewal janitorial bids/service costings including determination of total cleanable square footage, equipment and supply estimation and labor estimation.</li></ul><ul><li>
Participate in contract negotiations with employers, government customers and/or SourceAmerica.</li><li>
Develop janitorial work sites, including assessing work sites utilizing appropriate forms and procedures, restructuring and adaptive devices. Match participants with job sites.</li><li>
Prepare quotations for emergency and/or maintenance service as requested.</li><li>
Place and/or approve orders for equipment, supplies and sub-contracted services.</li><li>
Complete federal and state reports as required (ERS, QER, CRO Set-Aside, etc.)</li><li>
Develop, coordinate and monitor plans such as Green Cleaning, Recycling, Sub- Contracting, Emergency Preparedness, and Business Continuity as required for existing and new contracts.</li><li>
Conduct on-site trainings, including new staff orientation.</li><li>
Develop and maintain productive relationships with employers and other Gesher departments.</li><li>
Serve on Agency committees as appointed.</li></ul><p><b>

Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period.</li><li>

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION</b></p></div><div><p><br>
The Director of Marketing and Communications under the direction of the Chief Advancement Officer is responsible for the Agency&rsquo;s Marketing and Communications strategy. The Director will work with the organizations leaders to promote the Agency&rsquo;s mission, campaigns and goals as well as leverage social media platforms for the purposes of internal and external branding.</p></div><div><p><b><br>
QUALIFICATIONS</b></p></div><div><div><p><i><br>
Education:</i></p><p><i>
</i>Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related field preferred.</p><p><i>
Other:</i></p><ul><li>
A minimum of 10 years related experience in designing and implementing public relations programs, writing, social media content, website content, and digital and print production.</li><li>
Previous experience managing staff and vendor relationships.</li><li>
Self-directed and self-motivated with excellent planning, organizing and project management skills to meet deadlines.</li><li>
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer skills to utilize fundraising, CRM, and website software.</li></ul></div></div><div><div><p><b><br>
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</b></p><ul><li>
Create and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy, including but not limited to print and social media, public relations, websites, fundraising messaging, public events, and more. This strategy will include tactics to reach multiple external and internal audiences. This includes but is not limited to various online tools and other tactics.</li><li>
Coordinate the production of video presentations for the organization, events, and more as needed.</li><li>
Create strategy for PR priorities, in partnership with an external vendor, in order to promote Gesher in local radio, TV, print, and social media to enhance the visibility and reputation of Gesher across all media platforms with the public and key stakeholders;</li><li>
Work with appropriate Gesher staff including leadership, program employees and development team to determine Agency marketing and communication needs and to develop stories. These communications and marketing materials will include both internal and external communications.</li><li>
Manage, coach and provide direction and support to the Marketing Coordinator.</li><li>
Develop and maintain agency communications calendar.</li><li>
Working with the Marketing Coordinator, ensure that the agency website and social media accounts are updated in line with the strategic marketing direction.</li><li>
Manage contractual relationships with all outside vendors to ensure proper completion of project deliverables.</li><li>
Oversee print and electronic production and distribution of Gesher materials such as brochures, flyers, e-newsletters and special events materials.</li><li>
Assist in developing and monitoring budget for marketing, communications and public relations.</li><li>
Prepare runs-of-show for events and prepare remarks for professional staff and board members as needed.</li><li>
Design and update appropriate displays for special community events. Oversee scheduling of the Gesher displays.</li><li>
Ensure there are regularly updated photographs for marketing purposes. As needed, take photographs or hire and assist photographer at special events and ongoing programming. Maintain electronic file of Gesher media coverage; share within agency and on social media as appropriate.</li><li>
Serve on Agency committee(s) as appointed.</li></ul></div></div><div><p><b><br>
