Steritec Products Inc., a member of the Getinge Group, manufactures sterilization and cleaning medical device consumables using ink technology. We manufacture and print highly specialized proprietary inks that undergo specific color changes when exposed to different sterilization conditions in hospital and industrial/pharmaceutical sterilizers.</div><div><br>

The Principal Engineer - Quality Process Validation position is an on-site, full-time position. Hours are Monday &ndash; Friday, 8:00am &ndash; 4:30pm (with some flexibility).</div><br>

Job Function Summary</b>:<br>
Assists with current processes, and development of new processes in support of R&amp;D, Manufacturing and Product Development. Provides support and guidance on validation activities related to manufacturing/test equipment and processes.</div><br>

Job Functions</b>:<br>
<ul><li>Works to improve efficiency and effectiveness of manufacturing and other facility processes.</li><li>Provides Process Design Engineering guidance to R&amp;D, Manufacturing and Product Development.</li><li>Develop manufacturing processes; process flow documentation and design including process steps, workflow and material handling techniques.</li><li>Assists with applying statistical analysis techniques and lean manufacturing principles to drive operational efficiencies</li><li>Develop new manufacturing methods and procedures.</li><li>Provides input to new equipment designs with emphasis on concurrent engineering and improved productivity techniques.</li><li>Assists with process documentation generation and maintenance.</li><li>Participates in new equipment qualification and validation, and revalidation</li><li>Participates in process and test method qualification and validation.</li><li>Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related duties as requested.</li><li>Update and develop new SOPs.</li><li>Reduce process risks and increase manufacturing process efficiency.</li><li>Quality and Engineering Project work as assigned.</li></ul></div><br>

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</b>:<br>
<ul><li>Successful project management experience is required.</li><li>Experience in problem solving and troubleshooting using statistical and analytical tools required.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, ability to work in a team environment and ability to lead a project team.</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge and application of Lean concepts preferred.</li><li>Demonstrated creative problem solving in a regulated manufacturing environment.</li><li>Ability to follow SOP and develop, update and validate existing manufacturing equipment.</li><li>Experience with Automated system validation and development of new techniques.</li><li>Develop project plan and execute project plan.</li></ul></div><br>

Minimum Requirements</b>:<br>
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Engineering, or equivalent.</li><li>Minimum three to five year progressive experience in a medical device environment.</li><li>Experience in analysis of manufacturing processes, development of process improvements and validation of process changes desired.</li><li>Knowledge of statistical techniques and sampling for process validation and process monitoring is desired.</li><li>Basic computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet experience required.</li><li>Strong MS computer skills including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) are required.</li><li>Working knowledge of Minitab preferred.</li><li>Experience with Agile PLM or other documentation management system desired.</li></ul></div><br>

<li>Sustainability, Legal &amp; Compliance has a vital role in enabling and supporting Getinge and its leaders in: managing legal and conduct risk in how business is done, creating a business environment, which embeds responsibility for business ethics and law into daily operations, ensuring better control and predictability for the business on a global scale, as well as, creating a sustainable and responsible business.</li>
<li>Legal team plays a vital role in supporting the business on a global, regional and local level with contractual arrangements, negotiations, risk evaluation, general day-to-day legal support, disputes resolution.</li>
<li>As part of the global Legal team, the Legal counsel in India , will be providing high quality, strategic and practical legal advice, guidance and support for Getinge&rsquo;s business in India. The intention is that the function will be part of the leadership team of the SSU/BA (if any) in India but also involves close collaboration with the global business/product areas, global sales and service, corporate and group functions, as well as most importantly, other in-house counsels and the overall global SLC team.</li>

<div><b>Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties</b></div>
<div>
Responsible for:</div>
<ul>
<li>Providing hands-on legal support for the general corporate, governance, business, HR, finance, commercial affairs of Getinge's legal entities and operations in India.<br>
Identifying and advising on legal and regulatory risks and the legal liabilities associated with the regional business in general as well in specific transactions [Managing relevant contracts with<br>
customers and suppliers, contractors, distributors and agents, service providers, software/technology providers, other internal corporate entities, etc.]</li>
<li>Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of agreements, such as product and service supply or purchase agreements, tender documents, distribution agreements, agency agreements, licensing agreements, confidentiality agreements, healthcare provider engagement agreements, training agreements, focus group agreements, clinical trial agreements, grant agreements, as well as, other types of agreements involving transactions of various departments.</li>
<li>In cooperation with the global legal and regional team, drafting and revising contract templates for various transactions, and support the continuous improvement of standard form agreements and legal processes.</li>
<li>Implement relevant parts of global processes and procedures for documentation flow, approvals and reporting consistent with internal processes.</li>
<li>Conducting training for various legal topics.</li>
<li>Keeping abreast of applicable laws and regulations. Keeping abreast of legal issues that could impact the Indian organization.</li>
<li>Manage the litigation and disputes.</li>
<li>Performing other related duties and special projects as required.</li>
</ul>
<div><b>Minimum Requirements</b></div>
<ul>
<li>At least 7 years of legal experience from a reputable law firm and/or an in-house legal function of a multinational company within the Life Science/Medical Device/Pharma sector, or other relevant business facing the equivalent commercial and regulatory concerns. At least 5 years of experience should be from work in-house and in compliance work in a multinational company.</li>
<li>Experience from working with or in an international operations and foreign owners</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is essential.</li>
<li>Law degree.</li><br>
