Position Summary:The Harbor Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of marine infrastructure projects, including breakwaters, quay walls, and boat ramps. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in coastal and marine construction, and proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Lead the overall planning, coordination, and execution of harbor and marine infrastructure projects.</li><li>Manage construction activities related to breakwaters, quay walls, revetments, jetties, slipways, and boat ramps.</li><li>Supervise project engineers, site managers, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with design, specifications, and contractual requirements.</li><li>Develop and monitor project schedules, progress reports, and cost control systems.</li><li>Coordinate with consultants, clients, and government authorities for project approvals and inspections.</li><li>Ensure all works comply with HSE standards, environmental regulations, and quality management systems.</li><li>Oversee procurement planning, material approvals, and logistics related to marine works.</li><li>Identify project risks, propose mitigation measures, and resolve site and contractual issues.</li><li>Lead project meetings and prepare technical and financial progress reports.</li><li>Ensure adherence to company policies, contract obligations, and performance targets.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Education:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.</li><li>Minimum 15 years of experience in civil construction, with at least 5 years in a managerial position within marine or harbor projects.</li><li>Proven track record in the construction and management of breakwaters, quay walls, and boat ramps.</li><li>Strong understanding of marine geotechnics, concrete works, and coastal protection systems.</li><li>Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.</li><li>Proficient in project management software (Primavera P6, MS Project) and MS Office applications.</li><li>Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: RO1,000.000 - RO1,400.000 per monthEducation:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Required)</li></ul>

Project Manager

Position Summary:The Construction Manager will be responsible for directing, supervising, and coordinating all on-site construction activities for the harbor project. The role involves managing day-to-day operations of marine and civil works, including breakwater, quay wall, revetment, and boat ramp construction, ensuring that work progresses according to design, quality standards, safety requirements, and schedule targets.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Manage and oversee all on-site construction activities for marine and civil structures.</li><li>Plan, organize, and supervise construction crews, subcontractors, and equipment deployment.</li><li>Ensure implementation of design drawings, technical specifications, and quality control procedures.</li><li>Coordinate with the Project Manager and Engineering team to resolve design and site-related issues.</li><li>Monitor construction progress, identify delays, and recommend corrective actions.</li><li>Review daily site reports, manpower and equipment utilization, and material consumption.</li><li>Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements at all times.</li><li>Participate in technical meetings with consultants, clients, and suppliers.</li><li>Oversee concrete production, placement, and marine structure installation (e.g., armor units, quay wall blocks).</li><li>Verify and approve setting out, material testing, and quality assurance records.</li><li>Provide strong field leadership to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and timely execution of works.</li><li>Assist in preparation of construction programs, method statements, and risk assessments.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Education:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.</li><li>Minimum 15 years of experience in civil construction, preferably in marine and harbor works.</li><li>Proven experience in construction of breakwaters, quay walls, boat ramps, and other coastal structures.</li><li>Strong technical knowledge of concrete, geotechnical, and marine construction methods.</li><li>Sound understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.</li><li>Familiar with project planning and reporting tools (Primavera P6, MS Project).</li><li>Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.</li></ul>Core Competencies:<ul><li>Site leadership and supervision</li><li>Construction sequencing and coordination</li><li>HSE and quality compliance</li><li>Resource and equipment management</li><li>Technical troubleshooting</li><li>Teamwork and performance monitoring</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: RO700.000 - RO800.000 per monthEducation:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Required)</li></ul>
