We're looking for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our Buildings Team in Newcastle. This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with our global team of experts within a large and well-established international consultancy, giving you the opportunity to leverage your skills across a balance of technical work, project management and client relationships. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: <ul> <li>Structural design of buildings, along with inspections, assessments, and reporting.</li> <li>Working collaboratively with architects, project managers, building services and civil engineers in multidisciplinary teams delivering iconic projects.</li> <li>Project management and leading teams to ensure successful project delivery.</li> <li>Working as part of a team on projects from conception, through to final design and construction surveillance.</li> <li>Ongoing career development opportunities in a vibrant and collaborative workplace culture.</li> </ul> What you will bring to the team: <ul> <li>A relevant university degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering.</li> <li>A minimum of 8-12 years' industry experience as a Structural Engineer, with specific depth of experience in building design projects in a consulting environment.</li> <li>Experience utilising a broad range of skills across various types of buildings and materials.</li> <li>Membership of Engineers Australia and working towards CPEng and NER registration is desirable.</li> <li>Comprehensive knowledge of Australian Building Codes and Standards.</li> <li>Ability and willingness to mentor junior engineers.</li> </ul> We're open to discussing full time or part time options.
