Job Title: Mysql Database AdministratorLocation: Kolkata (near Green Line &ndash; Mahakaran Metro Station) Face to face interviews onlyPreferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).</li><li>Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).</li><li>Knowledge of other database systems (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) is an added advantage.</li></ul>Required Qualifications:<ul><li>Minimum 1+ years of experience as a MySQL DBA in a production environment.</li><li>Proficiency in MySQL administration (configuration, tuning, replication, upgrades).</li><li>Hands-on experience with Percona Server for MySQL.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Ubuntu/Linux server administration.</li><li>Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Percona Monitoring and Management, Nagios, Zabbix).</li><li>Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python) for automation.</li><li>Solid understanding of database security and user management.</li></ul>Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Manage, monitor, and maintain MySQL databases in a high-availability environment.</li><li>Design and implement MySQL replication (master-slave, master-master, GTID-based).</li><li>Perform database backups, restores, and disaster recovery planning.</li><li>Optimise database performance and improve query efficiency.</li><li>Troubleshoot database-related issues and implement corrective measures.</li><li>Collaborate with DevOps and development teams for application deployment and scalability.</li><li>Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance standards are met.</li><li>Maintain comprehensive documentation for database systems and procedures.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: &#8377;20,000.00 - &#8377;33,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>
