Job DescriptionGI is looking for Procurement Executive. The candidate will be an integral part of our closely-knit team and will be responsible for all sourcing and purchasing of equipments and products for the company across the world.Key responsibilities<ul><li>Analyse technical data and specifications of the equipment and supplies requirements</li><li>Analyse all suppliers in order to select the most suitable suppliers who are able to deliver high quality products at competitive pricing.</li><li>Negotiate with suppliers on lead-time, cost and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit for the company.</li><li>Develop purchasing or sourcing strategies and supplier preferencing study.</li><li>Liaise with suppliers on delivery schedule so as to ensure on-time deliveries of final product.</li><li>Develop, implement and drive the procurement strategies in order to meet cost savings targets.</li><li>Review and manage the supplier base to ensure consistency with the sourcing strategy.</li><li>Coordinate with vendor on continuous quality improvement</li></ul>Required skills and attributes<ul><li>Able to analyse technical documents and specifications to understand critical requirements</li><li>High-level verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Proficiency with office software, specifically Microsoft Excel or similar programs</li><li>Ability to negotiate commercial terms and manage the supply chain to the customer.</li><li>This job role requires close coordination with our offices in Dubai and the United States and communication skills are an integral part</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>BBA / MBA / Degree in logistics or supply chain management / BBM (Required)</li><li>Bachelors degree in Engineering or related technical fields, capable of understanding customer&rsquo;s technical requirements</li><li>Preferred 2 years of relevant experience as Sales and Purchase coordinator</li><li>Please also share your CV through https://www.gicorp.com/careers/</li></ul>Location:Cochin, IndiaJob Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;20,000.00 - &#8377;27,000.00 per monthAbility to commute/relocate:<ul><li>Kaloor, Kochi, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>total work: 2 years (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
