 A fantastic opportunity has arisen within our Global Credit Control team for a Credit Controller. You will be supporting the Head of Credit Control and be responsible for reducing debt, handling queries, and working with the team to streamline processes. Leading an evolving credit process and policy will be a key part of this role, as will the management and development of the credit controllers.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Chasing customers for payment by phone and email.
 </li>
 <li>
 Handling daily management process to track the cash collection throughout the month, with clear notes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain customer master data &amp; customer credit checks using the DoA to obtain approval before setting the new customer profile.
 </li>
 <li>
 Handling customer queries; making sure they are rooted to the correct department to investigate &amp; resolve.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure customer accounts are reconciled; including withholding tax /exchange rate/ bank charges.
 </li>
 <li>
 Managing the month end process and reporting
 </li>
 <li>
 Identifying and escalating potential bad debts to management
 </li>
 <li>
 Leading the daily, weekly &amp; monthly catch meetings with customers &amp; internal customers
 </li>
 <li>
 Account escalations and legal processing.
 </li>
 <li>
 Put customers on stop where necessary and communicate this to relevant departments
 </li>
 <li>
 Assisting the Head of Credit EMEA &amp; SEA with the development and implementation of policies and processes including but not limited to, credit policy, payment terms, credit balance processes, bad debt provision and other process documents.
 </li>

 Background and Skill
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Background in credit control essential
 </li>
 <li>
 CICM Qualification/equivalent or studying towards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Effective management and communication.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to manage a large debtors list.
 </li>
 <li>
 Customer focused individual who is self-motivated and results driven.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to build strong trusted relationships.
 </li>
