</b></h2><div><div><div><p>The Manager, Payroll ensures that payroll schedules are maintained and that all payrolls run on time and with extreme accuracy, including reconciling bank and organizational records. They process all transactions in compliance with state and federal payroll regulations, including federal, state and local tax reports, i.e. tax withholdings and unemployment insurance reports. Provides analysis of payroll data upon request to Finance and/or Talent &amp; Culture. They will partner with Benefits Team in maintaining benefits interface with payroll and serving as a backup to the Manager, Benefits. In addition, providing prompt and efficient customer service to all employees regarding payroll questions/issues is imperative. This position will manage the company&rsquo;s TransitCheck program, 401(k), PTO policy, HRIS including all invoicing and balance all wages at year end before distributing W2s to employees. May be asked to work with Sr. Director for Total Rewards on compensation projects and market assessments.</p>

</b></h2><div><div><div><p><b>This is a hybrid role with only 1-2 days per month in the NYC office.</b></p><br>

Manage workflow and proactively identify and resolve issues, understanding and executing all functions required for the payroll process, balancing the workload and assuring all critical functions are covered on a daily basis.</li><li>
Meet all payroll deadlines, provide feedback as well as implement new procedures in order to improve the quality and consistency of the work performed and ensure all payroll transactions are processed in accordance with GSUSA policy.
</li><li>Models an outstanding customer service mindset. Fosters a supportive environment for team members to grasp the concepts of effective customer service and appreciate the criticality of their use at GSUSA.</li><li>
Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates. Ensures accurate deductions including Multi-state, 401(k), H.S.A, F.S.A, etc.</li><li>
Partner on new hire/open enrollment to ensure accuracy of deductions and elections.</li><li>
Ensures accuracy of timesheet data for hourly and non-exempt staff.</li><li>
Provides support to Sr Director for Total Rewards on Compensation projects and analyses as requested.</li><li>
Collaborates with Manager, Benefits to generate and process benefits invoices for GSUSA.
</li><li>Supports the Talent &amp; Culture contract process working with the T&amp;C Coordinator to ensure all Total Rewards contracts are reviewed and executed in a timely manner.</li><li>
Manages projects that are relatively straightforward in nature and objectives, with relatively small teams and lasting up to several months. Partners with appropriate GSUSA colleagues and customer communities to implement project outcomes.</li></ul><p><b>

Position Summary: The Social Media Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing the GSMISTS social media strategy to increase brand awareness, strengthen engagement, and drive growth. In alignment with our strategic initiatives the Social Media Specialist will conduct research, benchmark trends, and messaging while maintaining a unified brand voice across different social media channels to tell the story of what it means to be a Girl Scout in today&rsquo;s world.</p><p>
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>
Execute the GSMISTS social media strategy in alignment with our strategic initiatives through research, benchmark trends, messaging, audience preferences, and collaboration with council departments in order to develop brand awareness and drive engagement.</li><li>
Markets and communicates the council&rsquo;s fundraising, special events, membership recruitment, program, and product program efforts in all social media channels.</li><li>
Be able to gather and analyze monthly data and prepare ROI reports and understand how to make improvements in future campaigns and optimize ongoing campaigns.</li><li>
Stay up to date with current technologies, AI, social media trends, design tools, and applications.</li><li>
Curate content of members, volunteers, and stakeholders by attending outside service unit meetings, GSMISTS events, and local community events to capture live and static content for social media platforms.</li><li>
Fulfill and track council sponsorship/donor responsibilities as it pertains to social media.</li><li>
Work closely with the Media Champions, content creation days, and help scheduling media appearances.</li><li>
Monitor, respond to, and engage with followers in a timely and professional manner.</li><li>
May perform other related duties as assigned to support organizational operations.</li></ul><p>
Qualifications:</p><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field (or equivalent experience)</li><li>
2+ years of professional experience in digital marketing and social media with a focus on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.</li><li>
Strong understanding of social media metrics; ability to interpret the results and take action to increase the effectiveness of social media campaigns</li><li>
Must be able to work under time constraints with multiple projects</li><li>
Strong written and verbal communication skills including news releases, articles, and scripts</li><li>
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills</li><li>
Public speaking experience</li><li>
Proficiency in Microsoft&reg; applications and Experience with Adobe Creative Suite&reg;</li><li>
Driving a council vehicle or a personal vehicle is required. Must successfully complete a motor vehicle history check, possess, and maintain a current, valid driver's license, and self-report any vehicle violations</li><li>
