JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
 As an HR Onboarding Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth onboarding
 processes for new hires, including shipping equipment. Your meticulous attention to detail and
 excellent organizational skills will be instrumental in maintaining efficient onboarding processes.
 ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
 <ul>
<li>Assist with coordination of the entire onboarding process for new home healthcare hires.</li>
<li>Assist with preparing for new hire orientations, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of</li>
</ul>
organizational policies, procedures, and expectations.
 <ul>
<li>Arrange necessary training sessions and introductions to relevant team members to expedite</li>
</ul>
acclimatization to the human resources environment.
 <ul>
<li>Provide support and guidance to new hires during their initial days, ensuring a seamless</li>
</ul>
transition into their roles.
 <ul>
<li>Collaborate with various HR departments to streamline the onboarding process and continuously</li>
</ul>
improve its efficiency.
 <ul>
<li>Ensure that onboarding procedures align with legal requirements, including employment contracts,</li>
</ul>
tax forms, work permits, and other mandatory documents.
 <ul>
<li>Develop, review, and update onboarding policies and procedures to align with the organization's</li>
</ul>
standards and industry best practices.
 <ul>
<li>Communicate policies and procedures clearly to new hires, ensuring their understanding and</li>
</ul>
compliance.
 <ul>
<li>Safeguard sensitive employee information and ensure compliance with data privacy laws, such as</li>
</ul>
the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or Health Insurance Portability and Accountability
 Act (HIPAA) as applicable.
 <ul>
<li>Implement secure data handling practices during the onboarding process, including consent forms</li>
</ul>
and privacy notices.
 <ul>
<li>Oversee the verification of employment, certifications, and relevant background checks,</li>
</ul>
pre-employment drug screenings, and TB test screenings for new hires, ensuring compliance with
 company policies and legal requirements.
 <ul>
<li>Maintain accurate and organized records of all onboarding documentation, ensuring accessibility,</li>
</ul>
completeness, and compliance with record-keeping laws and regulations.
 <ul>
<li>Gather feedback from new hires regarding the onboarding process to identify areas for</li>
</ul>
improvement and enhance compliance-related components.
 <ul>
<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes and continuously enhance the</li>
</ul>
onboarding process to ensure ongoing compliance.
 New Hire Equipment/Swag Preparation
 <ul>
<li>Gather and organize all necessary equipment required for new hires, such as technology, badges,</li>
</ul>
and relevant documents.
 <ul>
<li>Coordinate with IT to ensure timely delivery and setup of equipment at the new hires' designated</li>
</ul>
locations.
 <ul>
<li>Assemble welcome packages and swag for new hires, incorporating promotional materials, welcome</li>
</ul>
notes, and any other relevant items to enhance the onboarding experience.
 <ul>
<li>Customize swag based on individual disciplines, promoting a sense of excitement and belonging</li>
</ul>
for new team members.

 POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
 <ul>
<li>High School Diploma or GED.</li>
<li>Proven experience in HR, onboarding, or related roles.</li>
<li>Excellent organizational and time-management skills.</li>
<li>Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.</li>
<li>Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.</li>
<li>Familiarity with human resources processes and technology is a plus.</li>
<li>Proficiency in relevant software and tools for efficient tracking and management.</li>
