( LOCALLY AVAILABLE IN THE UAE ONLY) Job Description and ProfileQualifications :&middot; Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Welding or Metallurgical Engineering. CSWIP 3.1 or AWS CWI or ERS welding inspection and PCN level II qualification is desirable and BGAS Level 2 or NACE Level 1 certification requirements.&middot; Minimum of 10 years&rsquo; experience in onshore and offshore oil and gas/ petrochemical industry, third party inspection and verification of activities including Welding/ Process Piping/ Mechanical Equipment, Painting, Coating, Wrapping, Hydro testing and advance NDT methods with ability to assess NDT procedures, experience in review and approval of multidiscipline ITPs, procedures, site quires, NCR and concession requests.&middot; Proven experience in liaising with EPC Contractors.&middot; Computer literate and familiarity with codes ASME, AWS, API, DNV, ISO and BS. Job Description :&middot; Understanding the requirements of Vendor / Manufacturer&rsquo;s Quality System requirements.&middot; Review and verification of Manufacturer / Vendor documents as per Purchase Orders, Material Specifications as per relevant codes and project specifications.&middot; Carryout Material Receiving Inspection of all permanent Project Material by EPC Contractor.&middot; Witness verify and endorse Procedure and Welders qualification.&middot; Review and approval of Inspection &amp; Test Plans.&middot; Review and approval of material certificates.&middot; Monitor, inspect and approve all welding including welding procedures and NDT works. Monitor, review and approve all PWHT works.&middot; Review of all radiographs/NDT reports. Signing of weld / NDT log.&middot; Inspection of Pressure vessels, Heat Exchangers, Pressurized piping and structural works during fabrication.&middot; Witness Hydrostatic &amp; Pneumatic testing.&middot; Surface preparation, Painting &amp; Insulation inspection.&middot; Good understanding of Material control procedures and Material Preservation and storage procedures.&middot; Familiar with International codes like ASME/ ANSI, API, AWS, BP, BS, ISO codes, ISO EN 1024 etc.&middot; Raising Non-conformance reports and verifying Corrective &amp; preventive actions on all project materials during receiving inspection.&middot; Ability to prepare concise weekly and monthly inspection reports.Preferably with ADNOC Experience &amp; UAE Driving License( Salary upto AED10k)Kindly mention the position in the subject line and email to r.mendonca@groupegismic.comJob Types: Part-time, Temporary Contract length: 3 monthsPay: From QAR6,000.00 per month
