Job Title: Supervisor &ndash; Slitting &amp; Dispatch DepartmentIndustry: Label Stock Manufacturing Location: Sonipat Reports To: Plant Head / Production ManagerJob Purpose:To oversee the slitting operations and dispatch activities, ensuring smooth workflow, quality output, timely delivery, and adherence to customer specifications in the label stock industry.Key Responsibilities: Slitting Operations:<ul><li>Supervise and monitor the slitting machines and operators to ensure efficiency and productivity.</li><li>Plan and allocate daily production schedules as per order requirements.</li><li>Ensure correct slitting sizes, roll quality, and minimal wastage.</li><li>Monitor machine performance, downtime, and preventive maintenance needs.</li><li>Train operators on safe handling of machines and quality standards.</li></ul>Dispatch &amp; Logistics:<ul><li>Plan and coordinate dispatch schedules as per customer delivery timelines.</li><li>Ensure proper packaging, labelling, and documentation for all consignments.</li><li>Liaise with transporters for timely pickup and delivery of goods.</li><li>Maintain accurate dispatch records and generate daily/weekly reports.</li><li>Coordinate with sales, stores, and production teams for order fulfilment.</li></ul>Quality &amp; Compliance:<ul><li>Ensure products meet customer specifications and internal quality standards.</li><li>Implement 5S, safety measures, and SOPs in slitting and dispatch areas.</li><li>Address and resolve customer complaints related to dispatch or product damage.</li></ul>Team Management:<ul><li>Supervise a team of operators, helpers, and dispatch staff.</li><li>Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide on-the-job training.</li><li>Motivate and ensure discipline among team members.</li></ul>Key Skills &amp; Competencies:<ul><li>Strong knowledge of slitting machines and processes in label stock/packaging industry.</li><li>Good understanding of dispatch, warehousing, and logistics operations.</li><li>Problem-solving and decision-making ability.</li><li>Leadership and team-handling skills.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office / ERP for reporting and documentation.</li><li>Awareness of safety, quality, and ISO standards.</li></ul>Qualification &amp; Experience:<ul><li>Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering or Graduate in any discipline.</li><li>5&ndash;8 years of experience in slitting operations and dispatch management (preferably in label stock, film, or packaging industry).</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;30,000.00 - &#8377;40,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Cell phone reimbursement</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In person
