We are seeking to add a <b>Full-Time, Inpatient Child &amp; Adolescent</b> <b>Psychiatrist</b> to join our team at <b>Glenwood Behavioral Health Hospital</b>, a leading provider of mental health services in Cincinnati, OH. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of mental health conditions through personalized care that may include psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, medication management, and hospitalization when necessary. The position will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to evaluate patients' mental and emotional health, develop individualized treatment plans, and ensure the medical stability of patients. This role is critical in delivering comprehensive mental health services, focusing on improving patient outcomes and promoting overall well-being. About the role:</b></div><div>
The Inpatient Child &amp; Adolescent Psychiatrist will be responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of mental illnesses through a combination of personal counseling (psychotherapy), psychoanalysis, hospitalization and/or medication.</div><div></div><div><b><br>

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Responsible for providing clinical services to patients at the facility.</li><li>
Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as by corporate, facility policy or procedures.</li><li>
Review medical information on patients to ensure medical stability and to offer medical recommendations.</li><li>
Evaluate patients for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders.
</li><li>Treat or direct treatment of patients, utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications.</li><li>
Review and complete medical information for individual care plans, documents services and information in a timely manner.</li><li>
Maintain confidential documentation, compliance and billing in accordance with the policy and procedures.</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.</li><li>
One or more years&rsquo; post graduate degree practice preferred.</li><li>
Licensed in the state in which the facility(s) operate.</li></ul><div><b>
Licenses/Certifications:</b></div><ul><li>
Board certification in psychiatry</li><li>
Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working.</li></ul><p><b>
