Responsibilities and Purpose

A Wound Care Nurse will access residents&rsquo; wounds, create and implement treatment plans, monitor infections and signs of various infections, and clean wounds.
<ul>
<li>Evaluate patients with wounds and injuries.</li>
<li>Initiate care procedures for managing wounds.</li>
<li>Access wounds as well as create and implement treatment plans.</li>
</ul>
Experience and Education
<ul>
<li>Current and unencumbered Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.</li>
<li>Two (2) or more years of experience in a long-term care environment.</li>
</ul>
