Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead and mentor a team of junior designers</li><li>Work with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into design requirements</li><li>Plan and conduct user research, and present findings to internal and external stakeholders</li><li>Develop user personas, user journeys, and usage scenarios</li><li>Create wireframes, storyboards, sitemaps, and screen flows</li><li>Design and iterate on interactive prototypes</li><li>Conduct usability testing, analyze user behavior and feedback, and refine designs to improve the user experience</li><li>Assist with content development to support overall UX</li><li>Collaborate closely with cross-functional team members and stakeholders</li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned</li></ul>Mandatory Qualifications<ul><li>Level III: More than seven (7) years of experience working on complex projects, including at least two (2) years in a leadership role as a Specialist</li><li>Four (4) or more years of experience in UI/UX design covering the full lifecycle of design deliverables (wireframes, mockups, journey maps, prototypes, storyboards, user surveys)</li><li>Four (4) or more years of experience using Adobe Creative Suite or Figma</li></ul>Additional Qualifications<ul><li>Experience with user research, user modeling, and usability testing</li><li>Experience with CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript</li><li>Three (3) or more years of experience supervising employees</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree (or equivalent) in Human-Computer Interaction or a related design field</li></ul>Location: Albany NY (Hybrid)Job Type: ContractPay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hourWork Location: In person
