This internship provides a great opportunity to learn and work closely with the marketing team and collaborate with various cross-functional teams to implement SEO best practices and strategies.INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTIONAs a SEO intern, you will play a role in enhancing our online presence and driving organic traffic. You will learn and perform following tasks:SEO Optimization:<ul><li>Conduct keyword research and identify opportunities for organic search improvement.</li></ul>Content Development:<ul><li>Collaborate with the team to create and curate relevant content, including blog posts and site content, to enhance SEO performance.</li></ul>Competitor Analysis:<ul><li>Research and gather data on competitors' SEO strategies and identify areas for improvement.</li></ul>Backlink Building:<ul><li>Build and maintain a valuable backlink profile to enhance website authority.</li></ul>SEO Strategy:<ul><li>Lead and drive SEO recommendations, implementation, and quality assurance for local business pages.</li><li>Develop and own the local organic search strategy, from planning to monitoring, optimization, and reporting.</li></ul>Keyword Research and Optimization:<ul><li>Conduct advanced keyword research and create keyword-rich title tags, meta descriptions, and other copy in alignment with brand guidelines.</li></ul>Link Optimization:<ul><li>Recommend and implement effective internal and external link optimization strategies to meet specific SEO goals.</li></ul>Data-Driven Approach:<ul><li>Utilize a strong data background for SEO analysis and decision-making.</li><li>Report on SEO performance, including YoY performance, Brand vs. Generic, top pages, and top keywords.</li></ul>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>MUST BE US CITIZEN OR A PERMANENT RESIDENT (GREEN CARD HOLDER)</li><li>Having a master degree in marketing with concentration in digital marketing</li><li>Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills</li><li>Ability to multitask in a flat organization</li><li>Work effectively both independently and as part of a team</li><li>Be available for at least 40 hours a week</li><li>THIS IS AN ONSITE INTERNSHIP. YOU SHOULD REPORT TO OUR OFFICE IN WASHINGTON DC, MON-FRI 9:00 - 5:00</li></ul>PREFERED SKILLS:<ul><li>Proven experience in SEO optimization, keyword research, and content development.</li><li>Deep technical SEO experience and a strong understanding of code, site architecture, and link optimization.</li><li>Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.</li><li>Proficiency in SEO reporting and analysis, with a data-driven mindset.</li></ul>Job Type: InternshipPay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hourExpected hours: No less than 40 per weekExperience:<ul><li>Keyword research: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Washington, DC 20036 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Washington, DC 20036: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
