Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Bookkeeper to support our accounting team with day-to-day financial recordkeeping. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring that financial data is properly recorded in the company&rsquo;s accounting system. This position is ideal for someone starting their career in accounting or finance and looking to gain practical experience in bookkeeping.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records.</li><li>Manage day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable operations, including posting vendor bills and invoices accurately.</li><li>Verify and match vendor invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents.</li><li>Maintain and reconcile accounts payable and receivable aging reports.</li><li>Assist with the month-end reconciliations.</li><li>Prepare weekly payment reports.</li><li>Process vendor payments (checks, ACH, or other payment methods) in a timely and accurate manner.</li><li>Set up and maintain vendor profiles in the accounting system.</li><li>Resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors and internal departments.</li><li>Maintain organized filing of accounts payable and receivable documentation.</li><li>Reconcile bank and credit card statements with internal records.</li><li>Maintain and organize financial documents, receipts, and invoices.</li><li>Support the accounting department during audits and financial reviews.</li><li>Enter financial data into accounting systems and spreadsheets.</li><li>Post transactions to the correct General Ledger (GL) accounts.</li><li>Understand how financial transactions flow through General Ledger accounts.</li><li>Review transactions to ensure proper account coding.</li><li>Assist with correcting and reconciling transactions when necessary.</li><li>Enter and maintain accurate financial data in the accounting system.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred.</li><li>Basic knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable required.</li><li>Experience with accounting software such as SAGE 300</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel preferred.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>Good organizational and time management skills.</li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Schedule:<ul><li>8 hour shift</li><li>Monday to Friday</li></ul>Supplemental Pay:<ul><li>Overtime pay</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Bookkeeping: 3 years (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Miami, FL 33122 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
