If you enjoy hands-on work and take pride in keeping equipment running the right way, GFS is looking for you. As a Preventative Maintenance Crew Member, you&rsquo;ll be out in the field maintaining and servicing paint booths and finishing systems that are critical to our customers&rsquo; operations. Your work will focus on preventative maintenance, identifying potential issues before they turn into downtime, and troubleshooting equipment to keep customers productive.
This role is not a desk job&mdash;you&rsquo;ll be working directly with the equipment, using your mechanical skills, and collaborating with a team that values hard work, safety, and doing the job right. You&rsquo;ll have the opportunity to work with proven systems, quality tools, and experienced teammates who support each other and take pride in the results.
What Success Looks Like<ul><li>
Replace filters and clean equipment in paint booths, prep stations, mix rooms, and related systems</li><li>
Physically access booths and tunnels to remove paint buildup and perform deep cleaning&mdash;you&rsquo;ll see the impact of your work firsthand</li><li>
Perform general preventative maintenance to keep equipment operating safely and at peak performance</li><li>
Use power tools, testing equipment, and mechanical problem-solving skills to complete the job right</li><li>
Communicate clearly with customers and teammates to ensure safe, efficient, and effective service</li></ul>
Qualifications That Shine<ul><li>
High school diploma or GED</li><li>
Willingness to learn, show up, and put in an honest day&rsquo;s work&mdash;we&rsquo;ll provide the training</li><li>
Comfortable with hands-on, physical work, including tight or confined spaces</li><li>
Safety-minded with a positive attitude and willingness to take direction</li></ul>
