We are looking for a skilled Rotating Equipment Technician with 5&ndash;6+ years of hands-on experience in maintaining and troubleshooting major rotating equipment, especially gas turbines and critical rotating units.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of rotating equipment</li><li>Work on gas turbines, compressors, pumps, and motors</li><li>Execute preventive, predictive &amp; breakdown maintenance</li><li>Support overhauls, shutdowns, and commissioning activities</li><li>Carry out alignment, balancing &amp; basic vibration checks</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or relevant)</li><li>5&ndash;6+ years experience in Oil &amp; Gas / Energy sector</li><li>Strong hands-on experience with gas turbines (mandatory)</li><li>Experience in maintenance, troubleshooting &amp; overhauls</li><li>Knowledge of vibration / condition monitoring (basic)</li><li>Familiar with tools, drawings &amp; maintenance procedures</li><li>Basic knowledge of SAP / CMMS</li><li>Good communication skills &amp; team coordination</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: From QAR1.00 per monthWork Location: In person

Rotating Equipment Technician

Roles &amp; responsibilities<ul><li>Perform material selection and specification in line with project requirements</li><li>Ensure compliance with international standards such as ASTM International, ASME, NACE International, and API, along with QatarEnergy specifications</li><li>Conduct corrosion assessments, failure analysis, and material degradation studies</li><li>Review and approve Material Requisitions (MRs), Technical Bid Evaluations (TBEs), and vendor documents</li><li>Coordinate directly with clients for approvals and technical clarifications</li><li>Support procurement, fabrication, and construction phases with technical inputs</li><li>Review coating systems, cathodic protection, and insulation specifications suitable for Qatar&rsquo;s environmental conditions</li><li>Participate in HAZOP, risk assessments, and integrity management program.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate material solutions into product designs, ensuring compatibility and performance.</li><li>Conduct failure analysis on materials to determine the root cause of issues and recommend improvements or alternatives.</li></ul>Desired candidate profile<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees are preferred for specialized roles.</li><li>Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in materials engineering, particularly in sectors like Oil &amp; Gas.</li><li>Experience with QatarEnergy or similar Clients</li><li>Strong knowledge of corrosion, material selection, and sour service</li><li>Strong English communication and client-handling skills</li><li>Ability to effectively engage with diverse teams</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: From QAR1.00 per monthWork Location: In person
