Job Title: Electrical/Instrument InspectorLocation: Ras Laffan, QatarWe are looking for locally available candidates in Qatar with freelance visa only Job Summary:The Electrical/Instrument Inspector will be responsible for overseeing and executing inspection activities related to electrical and instrumentation systems during all project phases including procurement, fabrication, installation, hook-up, and commissioning. The role ensures compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards within oil and gas production facilities, especially onshore gas and LNG projects.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Implement QA/QC activities in accordance with approved QCPs, ITPs, procedures, method statements, and contract documents.</li><li>Inspect subcontractors&rsquo; work and verify compliance with applicable codes, specifications, and project requirements.</li><li>Review and sign off on quality surveillance, inspection, and testing records.</li><li>Ensure the use of up-to-date versions of project documentation (e.g., AFC drawings and specifications).</li><li>Provide daily feedback and reports to the Quality Manager/Engineer on quality-related issues.</li><li>Support commissioning and start-up teams in verifying readiness of electrical and instrumentation systems.</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Trade Certification in Electrical and/or Instrumentation.</li><li>Minimum of 8 years of relevant inspection experience in the oil &amp; gas industry, with at least 5 years in onshore gas facilities, preferably in LNG projects.</li><li>Familiarity with relevant electrical and instrumentation codes and standards such as IEC, NEC, NFPA, BS, NEMA, NETA, ATEX, IECEx-60079, etc.</li></ul>Skills and Competencies:<ul><li>Strong understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems and their inspection requirements.</li><li>Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and international codes.</li><li>Sound knowledge of QA/QC procedures and documentation.</li><li>Good communication and reporting skills.</li><li>Proactive in identifying and solving quality issues.</li></ul>Job Type: Contract Contract length: 6 months

QC Inspector- Electrical/Instrumet

Position: Coating &amp; Insulation InspectorReports to: Coating &amp; Insulation Manager / Site ManagerDepartment / Division: Coating and InsulationSalary Range: 7000 QAR to 10000 QAR + FAT By clientJob Location: Ras Laffan, QatarProject Duration: 6 Months &amp; ExtLocally available candidate in Qatar with freelance visa only requiredDuties &amp; Responsibilities: -<ul><li>Perform Inspection activities in accordance with requirement of the relevant Inspection &amp; Test Plan. -</li><li>Monitoring the work and co-ordinate all the Inspection activities with Client Inspector &amp; ITP.</li><li>Maintain the Quality of Blasting &amp; Painting of Steel structure, Pipe Spools, E&amp;I Items.</li><li>Inspection of all materials using for Blasting, Painting and related works as per Inspection check list and also reviewing the Manufacturer&rsquo;s Technical &amp; Safety Data Sheets (Verification of material s documentation &amp; visual receiving inspection).</li><li>Inspection of all Coating works as per Project Standards/Specification with Client Representatives.</li><li>Conducting Qualification test for Abrasive Blasters, Paint applicators and also for Crew Supervisors.</li><li>Coordinate with client and carry out the joined site inspection.</li><li>Checking and Monitoring Relative Humidity, Dew Point, Air temperature and Steel temperature (Ambient Conditions), WFT and DFT.</li><li>Attend project progress review meetings and contribute towards QA/QC &amp; painting/ coating related problem solving and dealing with queries.</li><li>Conducting Adhesion test, Curing test, Contamination test, Holiday tests in hull, Tanks and also critical areas with Client Representatives.</li><li>Reviewing all repair procedures and make sure that factors promoting corrosion under insulation are being eliminated.</li><li>Evaluation of Daily Coating Reports and maintaining all quality records for future reference.</li><li>Final Inspection and Documentation</li><li>Education: Engineering bachelor's degree or diploma</li><li>Can communicate well in English.</li><li>Relevant Technical experience - Min 5 years&rsquo; experience as a QC Inspector - Painting</li><li>Certification: NACE level 2 or equivalent </li><li>Must have a minimum 2 years in FBE field joint coating inspection</li></ul>Job Type: Contract Contract length: 6 monthsPay: QAR7,000.00 - QAR10,000.00 per monthApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Do you have experience as administrator in an offshore or oil &amp; gas industry?</li><li>This is a long term project based requirement, would you be able to work on your own visa?</li></ul>
