As an Editor, it is your job to ensure the customer experience lives through with our product, its presentation, packaging, and care. Driven by an authentic desire to collaborate and engage with others, you will inspire and create exceptional experiences for our customers as they discover and deepen their connection with our brand through our products - whether in-store, picking up an online order, or processing a return or exchange. As an avid team player, you will collaborate with all members of the store team to ensure every customer touchpoint throughout their experience is cohesive and seamless. Editors will be part of a team of impassioned storytellers, driven by curiosity and the power of the Glossier community, reimagining the future of beauty one experience at a time.
 
 
 As part of the store&rsquo;s team, you will be fully immersed in every aspect of our customers&rsquo; journeys as they visit our stores. Therefore, as an Editor, you will be trained in all aspects of the store operation, including our customer-facing and back-of-house operations. You will assist with coverage and will be equipped to work in both environments, front and back of the house. Having a holistic understanding of the customer journey, from start to finish, will strengthen our team&rsquo;s abilities when assisting customers with any and all inquiries - with leadership guidance and support as needed.

 Adherence to safety standards (e.g., COVID-19) as defined by the store leadership team in accordance with public health guidelines, federal, and state guidelines.

 Restock and replenish inventory in accordance with business and operational standards by leveraging the expertise of inventory management systems, inventory reporting, and store logistics.
 </li>
 <li>
 Focus on inventory accuracy, following a meticulous, yet expeditious, mindset when fulfilling customer orders.
 </li>
 <li>
 Carefully receive, manage, and inspect shipment deliveries to ensure accuracy and quality, and diligently report discrepancies accordingly.
 </li>
 <li>
 Active participant in visual projects (e.g., new display activations, floor moves, product launches, brand events, etc.).

 Uphold all uniform standards, closely following presentation guidelines.

 <li>
 Become an expert in all operational procedures of the store, both front and back of house, with a focus on providing support to newly hired team members.

 Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced customer service operation, such as retail or hospitality environment, is preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prior experience, in an advisory or sales capacity, within the beauty/skincare space is preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays is required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Passion for creating memorable experiences through meaningful personal interactions.
 </li>
 <li>

 This role is for a digital designer + video editor who thinks like a storyteller. You&rsquo;ll lead the design and execution of short-form video content + digital assets that translates brand strategy into cohesive digital experiences across paid ads, social content, campaigns, and web. With a strong point of view on performance-driven creative, you&rsquo;ll design assets optimized for modern platforms while maintaining a premium, consistent brand expression. Partnering closely with Brand, Creative, and cross-functional Marketing, you&rsquo;ll ensure every frame, transition, layout, and motion detail feels intentional and on brand. From concept through execution, you&rsquo;ll shape how the brand shows up online and build scalable content systems that support what comes next.
 
 
 
 Six Month Expectations
 
 
 
 In the first six months, you&rsquo;ll be focused on ramping up, building trust, and shipping work:

 Get deeply fluent in the brand&rsquo;s visual language, tone, and creative standards across social, campaigns, and digital

 Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 3&ndash;5+ years of experience digital design + video editing for social, digital, or brand campaigns, ideally within a fashion, beauty, or premium consumer space
 </li>
 <li>
 A strong portfolio demonstrating concept-led storytelling, editing craft, and visual consistency across short- and long-form content
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and/or CapCut (in addition to Figma)
 </li>
 <li>
 A strong understanding of visual communication, motion, typography, pacing, and sound design
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience shooting and self-directing content, with a solid grasp of lighting, framing, and audio
 </li>
 <li>
 Fluency in social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) and an instinct for what resonates culturally and creatively
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, take feedback well, and make thoughtful creative decisions under tight timelines

 In Accordance With The Applicable Law, The Following Represents a Good Faith Estimate Of The Minimum And Maximum Compensation Range For This Position

 The estimated annual pay range for this role is $70,000 - $83,000.
 </li>
 <li>
 There may be future opportunities for continued pay progression based on continued strong performance in the role.
 </li>
 <li>
 Full-time positions are also eligible for a competitive compensation and benefits package that include medical health insurance, 401K, equity in the form of Restricted Stock Units, Paid Time Off, Short Term and Long Term Disability leave, and a range of other benefits.
