 Summary
 The Manager - Inland Procurement position is responsible for developing procurement strategies and managing projects related to Inland/Domestic transportation and international freight forwarding. This position will lead daily operations support in developing strategic sources and distribution of goods and services. They will also implement and support department objectives, drive cost savings, lead interdepartmental projects. Duties include but not limited to; facilitating and developing cross-functional vendor management processes, analyzing cost data, develop negotiation opportunities, assisting in refinement and establishing performance goals and KPIs to measure savings and enable continuous improvement.
 Compensation Range
 $101,000 - $113,000 per year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)
 Responsibilities
 <ul>
<li>Manage current supply base and develop/mature future supply base to support in all domestics transportation and W&D (Warehousing and Distribution)</li>
<li>Develop and implement strategies for procuring and distributing of goods or services</li>
<li>Implement changes and develop processes with strategies to improve procurement of goods and services, increase cost efficiencies, set policies, and align guidelines across all departments</li>
<li>Negotiation with vendors/suppliers to secure advantageous terms, finalize contract terms, budget forecast, and cost</li>
<li>Identify areas to reduce cost and opportunities to achieve financial goals and business' budget</li>
<li>Manage projects related to cost optimization and goal to optimize margins for volume discounts, competitive pressure for procurement activities, i.e., prepare and analyze bids and RFx for procurement of all goods and services. Draft documents related to services/sales agreements</li>
<li>Responsible for gathering and preparing documents like quotes, proposals and purchase terms and conditions from suppliers</li>
<li>Ensure alignment between strategic procurement initiatives for all GUS operations team and identify areas of improvements to continually drive performance and business results</li>
<li>Continuously assess and improve procurement processes to drive efficiency, streamline operations, and reduce costs</li>
<li>Perform risk management and evaluations for all suppliers, ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements</li>
<li>Provide regular procurement reports and updates</li>
<li>Ensure compliance and policies, ethics, and goals in engagement of vendors</li>
<li>Responsible for maximizing the use of all the different tools in the ERP system to analyze trends to maintain a stead flow of the supply chain</li>
<li>Responsible for negotiating vendor contracts and understand price points and be able to negotiate effectively and create constructive relationships with vendors</li>
<li>Provide controls, oversight, and audit functions over supplier performance</li>
<li>Liaise with the leadership with current supply base needs, provide initial escalation point for contractual issues with supply base</li>
<li>Develop key relationships with business stakeholders and strategic supply partners to improve business</li>
<li>Manage performance and workload of staff</li>
<li>Train staff and skills needed to enhance current skills for future growth</li>

 Summary
 The Analyst - Corporate Accounting position will review daily transactions reconcile general edger accounts to ensure compliance with internal polices and accounting standards, and perform month-end closing.
 Responsibilities
 <ul>
<li>Conduct a thorough review of daily transactions, ensuring proper backup documentation and accuracy</li>
<li>Post entries accurately and promptly into the accounting system</li>
<li>Review and reconcile general ledger accounts to verify the accuracy and completeness of financial data</li>
<li>Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or errors that arise during the reconciliation process</li>
<li>Collaborate with the accounting team to conduct research and analysis on various accounting issues</li>
<li>Stay updated with accounting principles and regulations</li>
<li>Determine revenue and cost according to the acccrual basis of accounting</li>
<li>Prepare accruals during month-end closing to ensure that all revenues and costs are properly recognized in the appropriate accounting period</li>
<li>Analyze revenue and cost figures posted in the current year that pertain to the previous year</li>
<li>Manage the accrual balances from the previous year and ensure they are accurately reflected in the current year's financial statements</li>
<li>Perform direct margin simulations and conduct a comprehensive analysis of the profit and loss statement</li>
<li>Review and validate the accuracy of financial data before finalizing the books</li>
<li>Revisit worksheets of SAP data, if necessary, to ensure accuracy</li>
<li>Maintain accrual aging reports to monitor outstanding balances</li>
<li>Coordinate with relevant department to facilitate timely accounts receivable and accounts payable based on accruals</li>
<li>Inform departments on any changes or updates in invoicing procedures</li>
<li>Ensure adherence to internal polices, procedures, and accounting standards</li>
<li>Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and implement necessary adjustments to ensure compliance</li>
<li>Prepare periodic P&L analysis, including monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports</li>
<li>Compare the actual financial performance to the business plan and provide insights on variations and trends</li>
<li>Assist in the preparation of financial audits and provide support for audit-related activities</li>
<li>Prepare relevant documentation and ensure compliance with audit requirements</li>
<li>Verify and apply new contracts or changes/updates in customer/vendor contracts</li>
<li>Ensure accurate recording of contract terms and conditions in the accounting system</li>
<li>Reconcile remaining balance sheet balances such as prepaid expenses, amortization schedules, and other accounts</li>
<li>Follow up to resolve open balances and ensure accurate and complete financial data</li>

Compensation Range
