Job Summary: We are seeking an analytical and proactive Demand Planner with a background in pharmacy to optimize our demand planning processes and support the accurate forecasting of pharmaceutical products. The Demand Planner will leverage their knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry to ensure that product demand is met efficiently, minimizing shortages and overstocks. This role involves close collaboration with sales, marketing, and production teams to align demand forecasts with market trends and customer needs.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Demand Forecasting and Planning:</li><li>Develop, monitor, and update demand forecasts for pharmaceutical products using historical data, market trends, and sales input.</li><li>Conduct monthly and quarterly demand reviews to adjust forecasts based on real-time insights and emerging data.</li><li>Utilize statistical and predictive tools to improve forecast accuracy and optimize inventory levels.</li><li>Market Analysis and Collaboration:</li><li>Analyze market demand, product lifecycle stages, and competitor activity to refine forecasts.</li><li>Work with sales and marketing teams to incorporate promotional activities, seasonal trends, and new product launches into demand planning.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on product availability and mitigate potential supply chain disruptions.</li><li>Inventory Management:</li><li>Monitor stock levels across the supply chain to ensure optimal inventory and reduce both excess stock and stockouts.</li><li>Develop strategies for managing short-dated inventory, and ensure compliance with quality and safety regulations for pharmaceutical products.</li><li>Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely resupply, leveraging safety stock levels and reorder points as needed.</li><li>Data Analysis and Reporting:</li><li>Analyze demand variances and prepare reports on forecast accuracy, inventory levels, and service performance.</li><li>Generate actionable insights based on data trends, and present findings to leadership for strategic planning.</li><li>Continuously improve demand planning processes through data-driven recommendations.</li><li>Process Improvement and System Optimization:</li><li>Identify opportunities to streamline demand planning processes and implement best practices for greater efficiency.</li><li>Use demand planning software and ERP systems to manage data, run simulations, and support integrated business planning.</li><li>Keep up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements to enhance demand planning practices.</li></ul>Qualifications and Requirements:<ul><li>Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Pharmacy or a related field. Advanced certifications in demand planning or supply chain management (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) are an advantage.</li><li>Experience: 6+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or inventory management in the pharmaceutical industry or a related healthcare field.</li><li>Skills:</li><li>Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience using demand planning software (e.g., SAP APO, Oracle or similar).</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems.</li><li>Good communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: AED8,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per monthApplication Deadline: 30/09/2025

Job PurposeThe IT Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing the hospital&rsquo;s information technology systems to ensure secure, efficient, and reliable operations.
