GoJet Airlines is looking for friendly, professional, and enthusiastic individuals to join our crew. No previous experience is required but candidates should be committed to providing the highest level of customer service.
 
 
 As a GoJet Flight Attendant, you will be the sole Flight Attendant on a 50-passenger aircraft flying for United Express. The elite CRJ-550 aircraft is revolutionizing regional flying. Our Flight Attendants oversee safety and security from the boarding to deplaning process, while providing exceptional customer service and creating a memorable experience.
 
 
 GoJet Airlines is one of the only regional airlines that does not assign your base. The base you apply for is the base you are assigned to.

 Minimum Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Must live within an hour and a half of the domicile you are applying to (90 miles)
 </li>
 <li>
 High school diploma or GED equivalent required
 </li>
 <li>
 Two years customer service experience preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be able to make announcements, give emergency orders, and communicate in the English language
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be at least 19 years of age
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be in possession of a valid Passport, driver&rsquo;s license or state ID, and Social Security card
 </li>
 <li>
 Must possess the legal right to travel unrestricted to/from all states and countries (Canada)
 </li>
 <li>
 Travel documents must remain valid throughout all phases of training and employment
 </li>
 <li>
 Must have the legal right to work in the United States
 </li>
 <li>
 Able to attend up to 6 weeks of paid training in St. Louis, MO
 </li>
 <li>
 Able to be on call and available to report for duty in your assigned base (reserve duty). Reserve duty may continue for an undetermined number of years.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must adhere to uniform standards and guidelines and have a professional and conservative appearance. In general, pierced ears as well as tattoos or body piercings that are related to a requirement of your religious beliefs are acceptable. However, tattoos and/or body piercings on your hands, face and neck or that are visible in business attire are not permitted without exception.

 Physical Demands And Working Conditions

 Some physical exertion required such as the ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, squat, push-pull and lift heavy objects

 Ability to work in small, confined spaces and deal with turbulence, dry air, and varying noise level from aircraft engines
 </li>
 <li>
 Extensive travel, must be able to spend consecutive nights away from home and endure all climates

 Alternative work schedules including holidays, evenings, and weekends
 </li>
 <li>
 Skilled in handling difficult situations, problem solving, complaint resolution and conflict de-escalation

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; provide friendly reception to all customers

 Must be able to professionally represent the GoJet Airlines brand while in the Flight Attendant uniform

 Those selected for employment must successfully complete a company paid training program at our Flight Attendant Training Center in Saint Louis, MO as well as hands on evaluation in the aircraft. Training is approximately five-six weeks in length (depending on class size).

 complimentary
 
 training courses through the Inflight Institute.
 
 
 One short supplemental video course is mandatory prior to your interview, and a pre-course must be completed and have a 80% or higher score in order to attend our in-person training course in St Louis. These modules assist future flight attendants to understand the journey they are about to partake in.
 
 
 The Inflight Institute offers many supplemental and aircraft courses. These are not mandatory to receive an interview.

The Purchaser reports to the Manager, Aviation Stores, and is responsible for procuring aircraft parts and materials to support maintenance operations in accordance with company policies and procedures. This position manages purchasing activities for scheduled block checks and lease return projects, provides coverage for AOG personnel as needed, and maintains project tracking, financial records, and procurement documentation. 
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:<ul><li>US Citizen or have the legal right to accept employment in the United States</li></ul><ul><li>High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent</li></ul><ul><li>Valid Driver&rsquo;s License</li></ul><ul><li>Minimum 2 years of experience in Purchasing, Inventory Control, and/or Materials-related role OR the equivalent level of experience in a related role such as Aircraft Maintenance or Quality</li></ul><ul><li>Microsoft Office Suite with demonstrated proficiency in Excel</li></ul><ul><li>Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written</li></ul><ul><li>Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills. Self-motivated and able to work independently while maintaining a team perspective.</li></ul><ul><li>Must be flexible with respect to work schedule and willing to assist and support others within the company when needed.</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to prioritize competing issues and coordinate resolutions with associated departments</li></ul><ul><li>Associate&rsquo;s Degree preferred</li></ul><ul><li>Experience in Accounting, Finance, A/P and A/R functions preferred</li></ul>

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Purchase replenishment parts and materials in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as any associated material agreements.</li></ul><ul><li>Review Min / Max levels and process purchase orders as required. Initial provisioning and forecasting of block check materials.</li></ul><ul><li>Track the status of purchase orders and interface with accounting as necessary to ensure 3-way match and processing of orders.</li></ul><ul><li>Develop and maintain positive business relationships with vendors/suppliers.</li></ul><ul><li>Identify cost-saving opportunities through vendor selection and process development.</li></ul><ul><li>Interface with other applicable departments (Maintenance, Engineering, Finance, Inventory planning, etc.).</li></ul><ul><li>Vacation and sick coverage for AOG personnel.</li></ul><ul><li>Hours are Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., varying shifts, and Weekends may be required to support AOG functions.</li></ul><ul><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul>
