We strive to provide a positive fun environment with plenty of recognition.Requirements:<ul><li>Absolute LOVE and PASSION in caring for children.</li><li>1-2 years of experience working with children.</li><li>CDA or equivalent is preferred not mandatory</li><li>TCC or Early childhood Degree is preferred not mandatory</li><li>Able to create age-appropriate Lesson Plans</li></ul>Classroom duties include but aren't limited to:<ul><li>Creating and following lesson plans</li><li>Teaching students as they prepare for grade school</li><li>Helping children with eating</li><li>Diapering/toileting,</li><li>Cleaning, keeping a clean and safe room,</li><li>Keeping a Quality Care compliant classroom,</li><li>Keeping appropriate logs</li><li>and more</li></ul>Make sure everything complies with Bright From the Start and our standards.Physical Requirements:<ul><li>Standing for long periods,</li><li>Frequently walking,</li><li>Sitting on the floor and playing with children, and</li><li>Lifting up to a 40 lbs. child in an emergency.</li><li>You must be able to get up off the floor and stand up quickly.</li></ul>The ideal candidate will have a loving demeanor with experience with the Bright From the Start Regulations, classroom experience, and CPR certification. All candidates must pass the national criminal background check.
