We are looking to hire an accountant to join our company at Chennai Office. The key responsibilities shall be as under&middot; Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable&middot; Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies&middot; Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger&middot; Process invoices and ensure accurate coding and approval&middot; Process monthly GST, PF/ESI returns&middot; Assist with month-end and year-end close processes&middot; Collaborate with internal departments to provide financial support and analysis&middot; Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactionsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceMinimum 2 years of experience in accounting preferably in construction industryProficiency in accounting software and MS ExcelSkillsProficiency in accounting software and MS ExcelStrong knowledge of accounting principles and practicesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood communication and interpersonal skillsJob Type: Full-timePay: Up to &#8377;25,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
