Jacobs Entertainment is currently in search of a &ldquo;Maintenance Technician I&mdash;Graveyard Shift&rdquo; for Gold Dust West Elko. This property features a modern interior with the latest slot machines and table games including Blackjack, Craps, and 3-Card Poker. Across the parking lot is our 80-room Hampton Inn featuring Wi-Fi, a swimming pool, fitness center and a hot breakfast for all guests.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
<ul><li>
Ability to operate grounds keeping equipment</li><li>
Trains to maintain and repair all equipment and functions in and around the Casino property excluding gaming equipment</li><li>
Respond to calls for assistance and minor repairs</li><li>
Individual will assist in the performance of regular preventive maintenance procedures of plant and kitchen equipment, interior and exterior cosmetic maintenance and fixture/furniture repairs
</li><li>Individual may at times be required to assist in the landscaping maintenance</li><li>
Use cleaning equipment such as pressure washer, carpet cleaners, floor cleaners and associated chemicals</li><li>
Cleaning tile floors, all walls, ceiling tiles, carpet, HVAC grills etc.</li><li>
Assists with other maintenance personnel with assigned duties as necessary</li><li>
Assists with operating company vehicle for the purpose of snow removal</li><li>
Will thoroughly understand the function of all life safety systems</li></ul> 


Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
<ul><li>
Basic reading and writing abilities</li><li>
Ability to work safely with power equipment and tools</li><li>
Proficient in life safety systems operation and resetting</li><li>
Must be able to understand and follow MSDS sheets</li><li>
Know the location of all safety equipment how to use the safety equipment and check safety equipment
</li><li>Must have a valid driver&rsquo;s license</li><li>
Basic computer skills</li><li>
High School Diploma or Equivalent Work Experience</li><li>
General maintenance experience preferred</li><li>
Identification that establishes identity</li><li>
Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States</li><li>
Registered with Nevada Gaming Control Board</li></ul></div>
