Lab TechnicianThe lab technician performs laboratory tests daily on plating tanks for the purposes of quality control, process control, or process development by performing the following duties.Job Duties<ul><li>Test solutions used in plating processes for chemical concentration, specific gravity, or other characteristics.</li><li>Records test results in computer system and/or on standardized forms.</li><li>Cleans and maintains laboratory equipment and work area.</li><li>Calibrates laboratory instruments.</li><li>Prepares chemical solutions according to standard formulas.</li><li>Adds chemicals or raw materials to process solutions to correct or establish formulation requirements to meet specifications.</li><li>Maintain chemical inventory on a continual basis.</li></ul>Educational and Work Experience Requirements&middot; To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
