Golden Link is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant with a strong background in the interior fit-out and construction industry. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in internal auditing, financial reporting, monthly P&amp;L preparation, VAT reconciliation, and cash flow management. The role demands a proactive individual capable of handling division-level financials, ensuring compliance, and delivering strategic insights to support management decisions.Key Responsibilities:Financial Control &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Financial Record Management: Maintain accurate and timely financial records for all company operations in compliance with IFRS and local standards.</li><li>Monthly Profit &amp; Loss Review: Prepare P&amp;L statements by project/division/department with variance analysis.</li><li>Financial Reporting &amp; Presentation: Deliver P&amp;L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports aligned with stakeholder needs.</li><li>Division-Level Accounting Closure: Ensure accurate monthly/quarterly closure of accounts across all business units.</li><li>Performance-Linked Deliverables: Submit monthly account closures and reports aligned with internal KPIs.</li></ul>Budgeting &amp; Cost Control<ul><li>Project Budget Oversight: Collaborate with project teams to control and regularly update budgets.</li><li>Cost Analysis &amp; Reporting: Analyze material, labor, and overhead costs to identify cost-saving opportunities.</li><li>Weekly Project Costing: Generate weekly financial summaries on project expenditures and resource use.</li><li>Overhead Expense Review: Monitor and flag deviations in general overheads like rent, utilities, etc.</li><li>Expense Filtering &amp; Control: Enforce real-time filtering and approval of departmental expenses.</li></ul>Cash &amp; Asset Management<ul><li>Weekly &amp; Monthly Cash Flow Statements: Forecast cash needs and report on short/long-term liquidity.</li><li>Cash Flow Management: Propose strategies for managing surplus and shortfalls.</li><li>Asset Tracking &amp; Reconciliation: Maintain a detailed and audit-ready asset register.</li><li>Material Usage Tracking: Reconcile procurement records with actual site usage to flag discrepancies.</li></ul>Compliance &amp; Auditing<ul><li>Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and accounting standards.</li><li>VAT Reconciliation &amp; Filing: Manage quarterly VAT returns and reconcile input/output tax.</li><li>Corporate Tax Readiness: Prepare documentation for Corporate Tax filing and liaise with FTA.</li><li>Internal Auditing: Conduct internal audits and prepare findings for management review.</li><li>Auditor Coordination: Assist with internal/external audit processes and respond to findings.</li></ul>Payroll, Collections &amp; Vendor Relations<ul><li>Payroll &amp; KPI Review: Validate monthly payroll and incentive disbursement based on KPIs.</li><li>Collections Follow-up (Internal &amp; External): Oversee receivables and implement aging controls.</li><li>Vendor &amp; Supplier Payment Management: Schedule and process payments per contractual terms.</li></ul>Strategic Financial Insights<ul><li>Strategic Financial Insights: Offer actionable financial analysis and recommendations for management decision-making.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/CPA preferred)</li><li>Experience: Minimum 5 years in the interior fit-out, joinery, or construction industry</li><li>Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., ERPNext), Excel, VAT/tax compliance</li><li>Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, communication, and time management</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,500.00 per monthApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Do you have experience in preparing monthly Profit &amp; Loss statements, variance analysis, and project-wise cost breakdowns (YES/NO)</li><li>Have you managed VAT reconciliation, return filing, and compliance in the UAE?
