About the Role<ul><li>
We are looking for a Full Time Medical Scribe to join our team. This is the perfect opportunity for graduating students to gain practical experience needed to apply to medical, physician assistant, nursing, or physical therapy schools. No prior experience needed. We will train.</li><li>
This role is primarily based in Dublin, CA but will also be floating other locations</li></ul>
What You'll Do<ul><li>
Transcribing all patient encounters into EHR system for assigned physician, PA, or NP</li><li>
In-taking patient and posting all required fields into EHR system</li><li>
Capturing and recording all billable events during patient encounters</li><li>
Sending prescriptions and refills to pharmacies as needed</li><li>
Communicating referral requests</li><li>
Prepping exam and treatment rooms</li><li>
Retrieving medical records</li><li>
Placing orders as directed by the provider</li><li>
Working closely and communicating well with all staff to ensure all department goals are met while optimizing patient workflow</li><li>
Additional duties as assigned</li></ul>
What We're Looking For:
Education:<ul><li>
High school diploma or GED certificate (Preferred)</li></ul>
Experience:<ul><li>
Medical Scribe Experience: 2 years (Required)</li><li>
Typing: 1 year (Preferred)</li><li>
Medical Terminology: 1 year (Preferred)</li><li>
EHR/EMR systems, NextGen (Preferred)</li></ul>
