This is not a back-office role&mdash;you will directly advise clients, design strategies, and review work that saves them tens or even hundreds of thousands each year.You must combine technical precision with strategic thinking and the ability to speak confidently with high-net-worth clients. From initial preparation through draft review, consultation, and final e-filing, you&rsquo;ll manage the entire client process end to end.What You&rsquo;ll Do Collaborate with our internal strategists and clients on responsibilities including (but not limited to):* Tax Planning &amp; Consulting &ndash; Create and present tax-saving strategies, conduct review calls, and answer complex client questions.* Full Return Cycle Management &ndash; Take the client from initial preparation, draft the return, review in detail with the client, incorporate strategy-driven adjustments, and complete e-filing.* Cost Segregation Studies &ndash; Review, oversee, and ensure accuracy of CSS reports and related depreciation schedules.* Financial Forecasting &ndash; Build and interpret models to show the future tax impact of business decisions.* Multi-Entity Structuring &ndash; Advise on legal entity setups, restructuring, and income shifting strategies.* IRS &amp; State Compliance &ndash; Stay ahead of evolving regulations and ensure all filings meet the highest compliance standards.What We&rsquo;re Looking For Required:* Active U.S. CPA* 5+ years in tax preparation and planning for high-income clients &amp; business owners.* Proven experience presenting strategies directly to clients.* Mastery of federal and state tax codes, advanced deductions, and depreciation strategies.* Precision-level attention to detail and deadline discipline.* Strong communication skills &mdash; you can explain complex strategies in plain English.Preferred:* Hands-on experience with cost segregation studies and advanced real estate tax planning.* Multi-entity and cross-state structuring expertise.* Proficiency with Drake, UltraTax, CCH, or similar.* Prior work in a tax planner + CPA/EA hybrid role.Why Join Vested Corp?* Work 100% remote with a team of elite strategists.* Competitive base + bonuses for performance and client impact.* No repetitive grind &mdash; every project is a unique puzzle to solve.* Direct access to high-value clients and decision makers.* Opportunities to innovate, lead, and grow within the firm.Salary &amp; Terms GuidanceFor this elite-level CPA/EA role handling both compliance and advanced strategy, you can expect:* Base Salary: $90K &ndash; $120K/year for mid- to senior-level, $120K &ndash; $150K+ for top-tier candidates with deep planning expertise.* Bonuses: 5&ndash;15% annual performance bonus tied to client impact, retention, and efficiency metrics.* Terms:* Full-time, 40+ hrs/week, with higher volume during tax season.* Core hours availability with flexibility outside of deadlines.* Expectation to handle 150&ndash;200 returns annually, plus ongoing planning engagements.* Firm-provided tech stack, secure remote access, and admin support.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $90,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Work from home</li></ul>Work Location: Remote
