Job Description (JD)Position: Secondary Teacher &ndash; History/Social Science Location: Bannerghatta Road ,Bangalore 560076. Department: Academics &ndash; SecondaryRole Overview:We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable History Teacher for our Secondary section. The candidate will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing curriculum-aligned lessons in History while creating an engaging learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and academic excellence among students.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Deliver high-quality lessons in History to students of grades [Specify Grades, e.g. 8 to 12].</li><li>Prepare and execute lesson plans that align with the curriculum and learning objectives.</li><li>Foster critical thinking, historical analysis, and discussion through classroom interaction and activities.</li><li>Conduct assessments, evaluate student progress, and provide constructive feedback.</li><li>Create a stimulating, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.</li><li>Integrate technology and resources to enhance learning experiences.</li><li>Collaborate with fellow teachers and academic coordinators to develop teaching strategies and interdisciplinary projects.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance.</li><li>Uphold school policies and contribute to extracurricular activities, events, and school initiatives.</li><li>Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student development and concerns.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s or Master&rsquo;s Degree in History, Education, or a related field.</li><li>Teaching certification or license (preferred).</li><li>Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Secondary education.</li><li>Strong command over historical content and teaching methodologies.</li><li>Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to inspire and engage students.</li><li>Familiarity with digital learning tools and educational platforms is a plus.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: Up to &#8377;40,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In person
