GoodLife Innovations is seeking a <b>Family Teacher</b> to lead a residential program for persons with a range of support needs. This position comes with <b>FREE housing</b>- rent and utilities for a private apartment are completely paid for, so you can focus on providing quality, compassionate care while earning a salary at the same time!<br>

As a <b>Family Teacher</b>, you will live in GoodLife-provided housing as the home manager and primary caregiver for a small group of adults with disabilities. You will manage program finances, support the needs of clients, and supervise direct support staff providing care to clients.<br>

<b>Some qualifications:</b></div>
<ul><li>Previous caregiving and supervisory experience preferred</li>
<li>Must successfully pass criminal background check</li>
<li>Must have a valid driver's license and safe driving record</li>
<li>Ability to live on-site</li>
<li>Ability to lift up to 50lbs to physically assist individuals</li>

<ul><li>Training, motivating, and providing ongoing support to Direct Support staff</li>
<li>Managing all aspects of the home (grocery shopping, tracking house budget, housekeeping)</li>
<li>Assisting with or providing full support for personal care/hygiene needs (bathing, dressing, grooming)</li>
<li>Transporting clients in company van</li>
<li>Administering medications</li>
<li>Supporting clients at their Day Service programs</li>
<li>Charting/documenting data using computer system</li>
