General Purpose: In a few brief sentences summarize the primary duties and responsibilities.
The ADC Associate is responsible for all functions of donations acceptance and processing, ensuring the efficient rough sorting by category. The ADC Associate is to be a &ldquo;Goodwill Ambassador&rdquo; and is expected to role model Goodwill&rsquo;s mission in all actions and interactions in order to create a positive donor-centric experience. 
Essential Functions: Describe the duties that define the core responsibilities of the job.<ul><li>
Have a friendly customer service attitude.</li><li>
Consistently achieve brand productivity standards for donation handling and rough sorting of hard and soft goods.</li><li>
Maintain production room standard operating procedures (SOP) for receiving, storing and transporting of donations to designated stores.</li><li>
Execute efficient and effective donation processing by executing rough sort of donations by category (for example, textiles, housewares, shoes, and other categories as instructed by management).</li><li>
Track and communicate rough sorted cage count per day productivity to Key holder.</li><li>
Support, understand and adhere to Goodwill NYNJ Safety and IDC protocols, reporting any health and safety issues to your line manager.</li><li>
Partner with key holder to ensure all equipment is replenished as needed and store requests are fulfilled as scheduled.</li><li>
Engage all customers and donors, providing best in class customer experience.
 
</li><li>Share Goodwill NYNJ mission with our donors while attending the donations area, providing an exceptional customer experience and showing appreciation for their donation by handling with care and providing a donation receipt.
 
 </li><li>Daily Activities: Describe the daily activities included in essential job functions.</li></ul> 
1. Donations
a. Greet customers and donors within 30 seconds of entering with a friendly and positive attitude and offer to 
assist with donation if needed.
b. Offer a receipt for donations and educate every customer about applicable literature.
c. Keep the inside/outside of the donation area, neat clean, and organized.
d. Thank every customer for their donation and invite them to return.
e. Facilitate contactless donation process by ensuring that blue bins/cages are set up 
directly inside the donations area for stores with a separate donations 
entrance and that blank receipts will be available for donors on small table 
in donations area.
f. Follow policy for safe handling of product for processing of donations upon receipt.
g. Separate sellable donations of textiles, housewares and other donation categories, as 
needed depending on the donation center location.
g. Maintain count of donors on tracking tool. 
2. Pushing to Stores
 Prepare cages/bins of rough sorted goods for transport to designated stores.<ul><li>Activities are subject to change to meet business needs with management approval.</li></ul> 
Qualifications: Describe the minimum educational and experience requirements/preferences.
The following qualifications are required:<ul><li> 1 year of Retail or Customer Service Experience preferred.</li><li> Previous Stock experience required.</li><li> High School Diploma, equivalent or combination of education/experience required.</li></ul>

We&rsquo;re on the hunt for our next Director of Retail Thrift Marketing. This strategic, creative, and data-driven marketing operations individual will lead our brand, growth, and customer engagement across our thrift retail stores and e-commerce platforms. This role blends mission-driven storytelling with modern resale marketing strategies inspired by our 100 year history, sustainable fashion and people impact to leave no talent behind.
Reporting to the Executive Vice President of Donated Goods Retail, you&rsquo;ll be responsible for building a unified brand experience that drives foot traffic, online engagement, and revenue&mdash;while amplifying our mission to empower individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment through sustainable fashion.
The Awesome Things You&rsquo;ll Do
Brand &amp; Campaign Strategy<ul><li>
Own and evolve the Goodwill NYNJ retail brand to reflect our values of the treasure hunt, sustainability, affordability, and community impact.</li><li>
Lead seasonal and thematic campaigns that drive awareness and sales across physical and digital channels. DYI Halloween, Christmas in July, Earth Day and Fashion Week.</li><li>
Develop messaging frameworks that connect our mission with modern thrift culture and show how buying for Goodwill has a double impact. Build trust in the mission of Goodwill and the value of our thrift goods.</li><li>
Support our fundraising campaigns, gala and telling the goodwill story of people for the whole organization.</li></ul>
Growth &amp; Performance<ul><li>
Build and execute full-funnel marketing strategies across paid media, email, SEO/SEM, and social including in Digital, Social, In-store, Print, Loyalty, Out of home and Events</li><li>
Set, Drive and Monitor the following KPIs<ul><li>
Retail revenue growth (monthly and YoY)</li><li>
Customer acquisition and retention</li><li>
Digital engagement (CTR, conversion rates, social reach)</li><li>
Optimize campaigns based on performance data and customer insights.</li></ul></li></ul>

Build out a shopper loyalty program with incentives for shoppers with Clutch.com</li><li>
Drive returns, engagement and use of loyalty program and targeted campaigns</li><li>
Launch a new donor loyalty and giving options</li></ul>
Retail Launch &amp; Expansion Support<ul><li>
Lead marketing strategy for new store launches, including grand opening campaigns, local media outreach, and community engagement.</li><li>
Develop scalable launch playbooks for future store openings and current stores to have unified messaging and look &amp; feel for customers</li><li>
Collaborate with retail operations and merchandising teams to ensure alignment.</li><li>
Ensure in-store signage and materials are adding to on brand shopping experience, language, pricing, new items</li></ul>
Digital &amp; Content Strategy<ul><li>
Oversee content creation across social media, email, blog, and video.</li><li>
Develop influencer and ambassador programs to amplify reach.</li><li>
Ensure consistent brand voice and visual identity across all platforms.</li></ul>
Team Leadership &amp; Collaboration<ul><li>
Manage vendors for printing, graphic design and needs being mindful of budget</li><li>
Oversee marketing budget.</li><li>
Collaborate cross-functionally with retail, mission services, and development teams.</li><li>
Supervise and coach the Marketing Coordinator, create dotted lines with Development, CEO and Mission teams.</li></ul>
The Experiences, Skills and Perspectives You&rsquo;ll Bring<ul><li>
4&ndash;6 years of marketing operations or multi-channel marketing experience; retail marketing experience preferred.</li><li>
Proven ability to balance strategy and execution, setting plans while driving projects to completion.</li><li>
Strong analytical and reporting skills; demonstrated ability to use data to shape strategy and optimize performance.</li><li>
Experience managing large-scale signage, collateral production, and vendor execution.</li><li>
Experience managing marketing budgets, tracking spend, and reporting ROI.</li><li>
Skilled in sourcing, managing, and optimizing vendor teams.</li><li>
Familiarity with digital, social, email, and loyalty platforms.</li><li>
Excellent project management and organizational skills; thrives in fast-paced environments.</li></ul>
