The Production Manager position provides an opportunity, in a professional setting, to excel in a growing, fast paced, participant focused role, working both independently and as a member of a team, to positively impact the lives of others.<br>
<br>
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</div>
<ul><li>Provides day to day management of the Production Team, including recruitment, coaching, supervision, scheduling, development.</li>
<li>Works with team to process apparel and hard goods while maintaining or exceeding departmental KPIs.</li>
<li>Manage and influence team by communicating clear company goals daily, weekly, and monthly (see production standards).</li>
<li>Ensure the proper handling and processing of incoming donation flow in and out of the store according to GWH policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Keep abreast of merchandise knowledge, industry trends and competitive pricing.</li>
<li>Ensure accurate and timely reporting of assigned personnel's time and production through various production reports.</li>
<li>Ability to accurately operate store systems and ensure financial and statistical counts are completed (donor counts, production standards, etc.)</li>
<li>Responsible to prioritize workload assignments and communicate priorities throughout the shift; works closely with the team members to correct performance issues and resolve day-to-day process problems.</li>
<li>Identify operational issues, structure resolutions, and follow-through to deliver results.</li>
<li>Coaching and performance management of a high performing team up to 10 - 15 team members</li>
<li>Develop a culture of safety, security, and loss prevention to reduce on-the-job injuries, customer injuries, and shrinkage.</li>
<li>Commits to oversee GWH's compliance to local, federal, and state laws and regulations.</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned by Management.</li>

Minimum Qualifications:</div>
<ul><li>High School Diploma or GED, 1 to 2 years of retail sales experience.</li>
<li>Management/Supervisor one or more years' experience is preferred.</li>
<li>Must have knowledge in a variety of computer software applications; experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).</li>
<li>Strong sense of urgency, flexibility, multitask and willingness to adapt to change.</li>
<li>Well-developed production management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Understanding of KPIs and experience tracking KPIs.</li>
<li>Good time management and organizational skills.</li>
<li>Willing and able to travel to any/all sites within the GWH territory and work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.</li>

<b>Position Summary:</b><br>

Under the leadership of the Store Manager and District Director, the RTL will assist with the day-to-day operations and management of the store and donation area. To ensure efficient and cost-effective operation through world-class customer service, processing donated goods, quality control, and maintaining a productive workforce.<br>
<br>
<b>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</b></div>
<ul><li>Assume management responsibilities in the absence of the Manager or Assistant Manager including opening/closing and all day to day store operations.</li>
<li>Manage and influence team by communicating clear company goals daily, weekly and monthly.</li>
<li>Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions and maintain proper cash accountabilities at Point of Sale registers/safe.</li>
<li>Supervise and assist with the training and development of Team Members.</li>
<li>Ensure the proper handling and processing of incoming donation flow in and out of the store according to Goodwill Houston (GWH) policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Help ensure the timeliness of proper rotation of apparel and hard goods according to GWH policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Accurately operate store systems and ensure financial and statistical counts are completed (donor counts, production standards, etc.).</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned by management.</li>

</ul><div><b>Physical Requirements/Work Environment:</b></div>
<div>The ability to continuously stand/walk for duration of shift, frequently push/pull, occasionally bend/stoop/crawl/kneel/reach above shoulders and climb a ladder. Able to lift, up to, 40 lbs. (fixture parts, cartons of product).</div>
<div></div><div>An indoor work environment with exposure to outside temperatures. The noise level in the normal work environment is, usually, moderate.</div>
