What you'll be doing:
<ul>
<li>Responsible for dusting, mopping, sweeping, and damp mopping tile floors</li>
<li>Dust and clean walls, doors, windows and other surfaces above floor</li>
<li>Dust, clean and polish store fixtures</li>
<li>Perform manual tasks requiring moderate physical strength which may include the use of buffers, floor scrubbers, and other cleaning equipment deemed necessary to perform the daily duties of the position</li>
<li>Maintain and keep building exterior clean from debris</li>
<li>Empty trash from offices and other assigned areas and place in designated areas for disposal</li>
<li>Ensure the cleanliness of all restrooms and replenishes supplies as needed</li>
<li>Notify supervisor of equipment and facilities needing repair or replacement</li>
<li>Comply with Goodwill of North Georgia&rsquo;s International Organization for Standardization (ISO) process and the agency&rsquo;s safety and security policies and procedures</li>
<li>Perform other related janitorial work as required and/or instructed</li>
</ul>
Requirements &amp; Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education preferred</li>
<li>One (1) year of housekeeping, janitorial, or custodian experience preferred</li>
<li>Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment preferred</li>
<li>Ability to maintain a positive demeanor while engaged in repetitive tasks</li>
<li>Ability to follow oral and written instructions</li>
<li>Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with supervisor and staff</li>
</ul>
Working Environment Conditions/ Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Must be able to meet all physical requirements to perform the duties of the position including the ability to bend, reach, grasp, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time as well as the ability to push, pull and lift up to 30lbs with or without accommodation</li>
<li>Must be able to work in all types of conditions including heat, cold and dust</li></ul>
