<ul><li>Immediate Supervisor: Store Manager.</li><li>EEOC Class: Sales Workers.</li><li>FLSA Status: Non-Exempt.</li></ul></div><p>
Wage: $16.50 Hourly</p><p>
Job Summary:<br>
The Cashier will use cash registers and related equipment to conduct monetary transactions with customers. Provides excellent customer service to promote long-term, positive customer relationships.</p><div>
Duties/Responsibilities:<br>
<ul><li>Greets customers as they enter the location.
</li><li>Accepts money in the form of cash and credit or debit cards for items purchased.</li><li>Identifies prices of products and services and tabulates bills with available equipment.
</li><li>Assists customers with questions or price discrepancies.</li><li>Ensures accurate transactions.</li><li>Bag, box, and wrap purchased items.</li><li>Understands ticket rotation.</li><li>Assists customers in locating various products, resolving complaints, or providing information.</li><li>Stocks merchandise.</li><li>Responsible for a neat, clean and organized store.</li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned that would lead to successful operation of department, team, and/or mission.</li></ul></div><div>
Please note that this position has a 90-day introductory period.

Required Skills/Abilities:
<br>
<ul><li>Excellent customer service skills.
</li><li>Excellent verbal communication skills.
</li><li>Read, write, speak and understand English.</li><li>Ability to operate available equipment, such as cash registers, calculators, or scanners.</li><li>Basic mathematical skills, as needed to make change and give refunds.
</li><li>Punctual.</li><li>May need to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis.</li><li>Knowledgeable about company&rsquo;s mission and services, and customer-related policies.
</li></ul>Physical Requirements:
<br>
<ul><li>Prolonged periods standing (up to 8 hours) and working on cash register or related equipment.</li><li>Must be able to lift/pull/push up to 50 pounds at times.
</li><li>Ability to bend/squat/stoop.</li><li>Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods of time.</li><li>Free from drug and alcohol abuse.</li></ul></div><div>
Equipment, machines and tools used:<br>
<ul><li>Electronic cash register.</li><li>Smart Safe.</li><li>Calculator.</li><li>Telephone.
</li><li>Charge Card terminal.</li><li>Broom, dust mop, wet mop, water bucket.</li></ul></div><div>
Personal Protective Equipment Used &ndash; Assigned at orientation/as needed:<br>
<ul><li>Gloves</li></ul>
