Summary 
To provide excellent customer service and perform necessary duties in the daily operations of a Goodwill Keystone Area retail store.
Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>
Greets, assists customers and answers telephone in a positive and professional manner.</li><li>
Operates cash register and credit/debit transactions with accuracy and according to all Goodwill Keystone Area policies and procedures.</li><li>
Organizes, color coordinates and rotates merchandise on the sales floor ensuring an attractive and convenient layout of sales floor along with visual merchandising and cleanliness of store.</li><li>
Promotes and represents Goodwill Keystone Area and its mission in a positive manner at all times.</li><li>
Actively participates in organizational programs and special events.</li><li>
Promotes an environment of workplace safety. Assures that duties are performed in a safe manner and safety requirements are adhered to.</li><li>
Communicates progress, problems, and concerns to the Customer Service Manager.</li></ul>
Education and Experience<ul><li>
No formal education necessary.</li><li>
POS experience preferred.</li></ul>
Skills/Abilities/Qualifications<ul><li>
Ability to read, write, hear, and speak.
</li><li>Ability to perform simple math.</li><li>
Ability to operate necessary equipment such as cash register and credit/debit machines.</li><li>
Ability to speak English in order to interact with donors and customers satisfactorily.</li><li>
Must present a neat and positive appearance.</li><li>
Must be able to identify clothing sizes and gender specific differences.</li><li>
Must be able to work flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends.
</li></ul>Physical Requirements<ul><li>
Ability to stand continuously for more than 75 of the shift.
</li><li>Ability to push and pull racks requiring a force of up to 20 pounds for a distance up to 100 feet for 10% of the shift.
</li><li>Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions every few seconds associated with cash register use for more than 75 of the shift.
</li><li>Ability to repetitively lift textiles on hangers weighing up to 4 pounds at or above head level for 25% of the shift.</li></ul>

Sales Associate - Part Time

Summary 
Provide essential support in overall operations and customer service with a main focus on processing all donations, including sorting, hanging, pricing, tagging, stocking and rotating product while adhering to all production and quality standards.
Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>
Process textile donations, including sorting, hanging, pricing, tagging and moving product to the sales floor to meet preset production and sales goals for the store.
</li><li>Process donations of housewares, electronics, media, shoes, and other miscellaneous items, including sorting, pricing, tagging, and moving product to the sales floor to meet preset production and sales goals for the store.
</li><li>Organize, recover and rotate the sales floor as needed.</li><li>
Follow all quality and production standards as set by Goodwill Keystone Area.</li><li>
Track production daily and report to supervisor.
</li><li>Be knowledgeable of daily, weekly and monthly production and sales goals.
</li><li>Selects and identifies appropriate items for Ecommerce department.</li><li>
Ability to assist and have flexibility in the overall daily operations within the store.
</li><li>Ensure that quality customer service is presented and provided in a timely and courteous manner to all customers, donors and other employees.</li><li>
Supports, promotes and participates in organizational programs and special events.</li><li>
Assists in any other assignments designated by management.</li><li>
Adhere to all Goodwill Keystone Area manuals, handbooks, policies and procedures.</li><li>

Ability to read, write and perform simple math.
</li><li>Must meet qualitative and quantitative performance standards as established by organization.</li><li>
Must be able to work in an open warehouse environment, being exposed to various weather and temperature conditions including extreme heat, humidity, and cold.</li><li>
Ability to learn and use equipment and technology.
</li><li>Ability to follow verbal instructions and to work as part of a team.
</li><li>Requires a high level of adaptability and flexibility.
</li><li>Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends.
</li></ul>Physical Requirements<ul><li>
Ability to stand continuously for more than 75% of the shift.</li><li>
Ability to repeatedly bend forward or to the side 60 degrees to remove or place items into various carts for 50% of the shift.</li><li>
Ability to stand continuously with the neck bent forward 30 degrees for more than 75% of the shift.
</li><li>Ability to lift 50 pounds from ground level to waist level for 25% of the shift.</li><li>
Ability to lift 25 pounds every few minutes for more than 75% of the shift.</li><li>
Must be able to push and pull various carts requiring a force of 25 pounds a distance of 100 feet for 25% of the shift.</li><li>
Ability to repetitively perform the same hand, wrist and arm motions every few seconds for more than 75% of the shift.</li></ul>

Merchandise Processor - Part Time

Summary 
Performs custodial duties and provides on-the-job training and supports to individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment, while fulfilling duties of contracts. Ensures that all quality standards set by the contract are met.
Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>
Performs, trains, and assists client workers/trainees to perform a wide variety of cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dust mopping, spot cleaning, trash collection and removal, vacuuming, dusting, restroom cleaning and floor maintenance.</li><li>
Assigns client workers/trainees their duties and follows up on work to ensure that it is completed thoroughly and meets all quality standards. As requested, provides Custodial Project Manager/Grounds Maintenance with information for job performance evaluations on client workers/trainees assigned. As requested, may provide Federal Rehabilitation Vocational Specialist with information for job performance evaluations on client workers/trainees assigned and participate in evaluation meetings as necessary.</li><li>
Must maintain adequate supply levels. Reports requests for equipment and supplies to the Custodial Project Manager/Grounds Maintenance or supervisor where applicable.</li><li>
Ensures that all machinery and equipment is properly maintained and reports all problems and repair requests to the Custodial Project Manager/Grounds Maintenance or supervisor in a timely manner.</li><li>
Ensures that self and client workers/trainees are using supplies in an efficient manner to reduce waste and cost.</li><li>
Assists the Custodial Project Manager/Grounds Maintenance with maintaining quality standards set by contract. May participate as a member of the quality assurance team. May participate in daily, weekly and monthly inspections. Identifies problems, takes corrective action and keeps Custodial Project Manager/Grounds Maintenance abreast of any potential problems. Maintains daily log as assigned.</li><li>
Performs snow removal as applicable per contract.</li><li>
Performs all duties in a safe manner and ensures that client workers adhere to safety guidelines such as the use of caution signs when mopping, stripping and waxing floors and the prompt removal of these signs when floors are dry. Ensures that self and client workers operate all machinery and equipment in a safe and proper manner. Practices and teaches safe work methods. Always uses and ensures client workers use safety gear and equipment when working in areas that require these items.

Education and Experience<ul><li>

Must possess good communication skills.</li><li>
Ability to work beyond normal schedule as needed.</li><li>
Must call Supervisor or Project Manager at least thirty (30) minutes prior to the start of shift to report absence</li><li>
Must possess a valid driver&rsquo;s license and satisfactorily complete a motor vehicle check on an annual basis.
</li><li>Must be able to obtain and maintain secret level security.</li></ul>
