Right now our South Tacoma, WA store is seeking a Full Time Production Worker!

Hourly Rate: $17.13 per hour

Position Summary: Production Workers are responsible for processing donated merchandise for re-sale including sorting and pricing in a warehouse environment. This is a career advancing position that offers great experience and development skills to pursue advancement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Production Worker responsibilities include the following and other duties as assigned:
<ul>
<li>Attaches price ticket to sale items</li>
<li>Records and maintains daily production records</li>
<li>Places ticketed items in appropriate transport container</li>
<li>Monitors and reports supply needs to supervisor</li>
<li>Ensures the area stays clean, well-organized, and safe</li>
<li>Able to work and maintain in a fast-paced environment</li>
<li>Willingness to cross train in other areas</li>
</ul>
Product Quality Assurance
<ul>
<li>Inspect, clean, and repair items to be priced and placed on the sales floor</li>
</ul>
Flexibility
<ul>
<li>Ability to change priorities aligned with business needs.</li>
</ul>
Product Handling and Sorting
<ul>
<li>Unloads sacks, boxes, and miscellaneous donated items from Gaylords or donation carts and transports them to proper processing or storage areas.</li>

Position Summary: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and improving the condition of Goodwill of the Olympics and Rainier Region (GORR) facilities operating throughout Washington. The Technician is semi-skilled in several trade fields and in addition to performing maintenance projects, the technician completes assigns work orders. The Technician helps to maintain a computerized work order system (Bluefolder), makes decisions on work priorities based on the schedule and direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Maintenance Manager. Preventive maintenance and building improvements include electrical, automatic entry systems, painting, plumbing, carpentry, refrigeration, and HVAC projects. Hourly Rate: $19.95 - $22.55 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Maintenance Technician responsibilities include the following and other duties as assigned:
<ul><li>Works directly with the Supervisor to assist in maintaining facilities.</li>
<li>Completes work using an automated work order system such as Bluefolder or similar software.</li>
<li>Takes an active role in accomplishing tasks and provides leadership to Apprentices and co-workers by modeling initiative, customer service, efficiency, and technical ability.</li>
<li>Works to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal customers through communication and responsiveness.</li>
<li>Organize resources and establish priorities for building or remodeling projects.</li>
<li>Inspect buildings, grounds, equipment and fixtures to determine needs for maintenance or repair.</li>
<li>Perform construction, maintenance and repair work on facilities including painting, plumbing, electrical, automatic entry systems, refrigeration equipment, and HVAC systems.</li>
<li>Repair or alter buildings, facilities, and other structures from plans, sketches, written or oral instructions.</li>
<li>Install, maintain and repair plumbing, electrical, and other systems and equipment in buildings and utility distribution systems.</li>
<li>Operate construction tools, equipment and power tools.</li>
<li>Follows safe work practices.</li>
</ul>Requirements:
Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:
<ul><li>High School Diploma/GED equivalent
</li><li>At least three years of experience in similar or same field
</li><li>Knowledge of current construction methods, materials, and equipment
</li><li>Building construction and carpentry (flooring repair/installation, concrete repair, drywall repair, hanging doors, framing, etc.)
</li><li>Knowledge of building codes, rules, and safety regulations preferred
</li><li>Painting, electrical, plumbing, welding, mechanical knowledge experience is a plus
</li><li>Exceptional analytical, judgment, decision-making and communications skills
</li><li>Superior coaching, leadership and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build understanding and consensus

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge Microsoft Office products, specifically Word and Excel and PowerPoint.
