Position: Executive Assistant to the ChairmanF*ull-Time In-Office Amarillo, Texas *About the OrganizationPatriots for Action is a Texas-based civic and political organization founded to restore transparency, accountability, and integrity to government at every level. Operating out of a 15,000-square-foot headquarters in Amarillo, the organization runs multiple initiatives, including Patriots for Paper &mdash; a statewide election integrity campaign &mdash; and Bond Assassins, a program dedicated to defeating unnecessary municipal bond measures across Texas. The organization also operates a sophisticated voter contact infrastructure serving political candidates and causes across the state.This is not a typical office job. The Chairman operates across multiple business entities, political organizations, real estate holdings, cattle operations, and civic initiatives simultaneously. The right candidate will thrive in a fast-moving, high-stakes environment where no two days are the same and the work genuinely matters.The RoleThe Executive Assistant to the Chairman is the operational right-hand of a busy principal who is building a statewide and potentially national civic infrastructure. This role is part executive assistant, part project coordinator, part office manager, and part chief of staff. You will be responsible for keeping the Chairman organized, on task, and moving forward across a wide range of simultaneous priorities.The ideal candidate is someone who quietly runs things &mdash; who sees what needs to be done before being asked, follows through without being reminded, and takes genuine ownership of their responsibilities. If you are the person who effectively keeps an organization running while everyone else gets the credit, this role was built for you.Primary Responsibilities<ul><li>Organize and manage incoming information, documents, and correspondence across multiple business and political entities</li><li>Coordinate with outside advisors, including attorneys, financial planners, accountants, and consultants, to gather, organize, and transmit required information on deadline</li><li>Manage PAC filing requirements, reporting schedules, and compliance documentation for Patriots for Action PAC</li><li>Coordinate with the development team on project priorities and deliverables</li><li>Draft, proofread, and format correspondence, press releases, letters, and organizational documents</li><li>Manage the Chairman&rsquo;s calendar, calls, and follow-up commitments</li><li>Assist with candidate services coordination, including scheduling, intake, and client communication</li><li>Maintain organized records across business entities, domain portfolios, and political filings</li><li>Support event coordination for precinct conventions, county conventions, and organizational meetings</li><li>Handle sensitive information with absolute discretion</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For<ul><li>Someone who runs things rather than waits to be told what to do</li><li>Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li>Strong written communication &mdash; you can draft a professional letter or press release without extensive editing</li><li>Comfortable working across legal, financial, political, and business contexts simultaneously</li><li>Discretion &mdash; this role involves sensitive business, legal, and political information</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic web tools</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment without losing track of details</li><li>A genuine interest in civic and political affairs is a plus but not required</li><li>Prior experience in office management, legal support, executive assistance, or operations preferred</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>$20 per hour to start with room to grow as the role grows</li><li>Full-time position in a dynamic, mission-driven environment</li><li>Work that matters &mdash; you will be part of building something with real statewide and national implications</li><li>A principal who respects competence, rewards initiative, and gets out of the way of people who deliver</li><li>Exposure to political, legal, real estate, and business operations at a level most people never see</li><li>Headquarters in a historic, renovated building in Amarillo with a collegial, small team environment</li></ul>How to ApplySend a resume and a brief note &mdash; not a form cover letter &mdash; telling us why this role fits where you are and what you bring to it.
