The Director, North America Channel Marketing will be responsible for driving the company&rsquo;s marketing strategy in the U.S. and Canada and executing a wide range of integrated marketing programs to enhance the Gordon Brothers brand within the marketplace.</div><div></div><div>
This role will collaborate with business leaders across North America to define business-specific marketing strategies, budgets, campaign plans and performance metrics aligned to business goals, and establish a channel marketing function that delivers integrated campaigns across industry verticals and advances the firm&rsquo;s thought leadership platform.</div><div></div><div>
The role will work closely with the broader corporate marketing team and manage external agencies in the region to ensure all North America marketing initiatives are consistent with the firm&rsquo;s global brand and messaging.</div><div>
This position requires a candidate with a blend of strategy, creative and analytic expertise as well as a hands-on approach.</div><div></div><div>
Responsibilities</div><ul><li>
Increase Gordon Brothers&rsquo; market penetration in North America by overseeing the channel marketing function responsible for developing and driving marketing strategy to support business development efforts.<ul><li>
Develop and implement channel marketing strategies aligned with business and sales strategy that drive brand awareness of individual business lines within the markets they serve</li><li>
Develop and execute deal marketing campaigns, including PR, print and online advertising, email, social media and website updates for online auctions and private treaty sales</li><li>
Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders and channel partners</li><li>
Manage budgets for channel marketing initiatives to ensure optimal resource allocation</li><li>
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of channel marketing programs, analyzing market trends and channel performance to inform marketing strategies, optimize marketing efforts and drive revenue growth</li><li>
Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals to achieve departmental goals</li></ul></li><li>
Develop and execute a thought leadership platform that enhances the Gordon Brothers brand within the marketplace</li><li>
Establish engagement programs across email and social platforms to increase brand awareness for Gordon Brothers and our services, elevate the profile of our experts and engage our clients and partners</li><li>
Build and maintain relationships with professional and trade associations</li><li>
Closely manage and engage with third-party providers and agencies, to scale programs and drive awareness while maintaining relevancy for the brand</li><li>
Oversee creation of effective thought leadership and content across multiple formats, including:</li><li>
Written, visual, digital and video</li><li>
Press releases</li><li>
Print and digital advertising</li><li>
Pitch documents, case studies and marketing collateral</li><li>
Email, direct mail and newsletters</li><li>
Social media</li><li>
Speaking engagements and byline articles</li><li>

Education &amp; Experience</div><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Marketing or Communications preferred</li><li>
15 or more years of business-to-business (B2B) marketing/communications experience, preferably within a financial/professional services sector, experience with M&amp;A, turnaround, retail and/or industrial industries a plus</li><li>
Experience in working in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment</li><li>
Experience in dealing with senior stakeholders and influencing and engaging effectively</li><li>
Proven record of successful development and execution of marketing plans in North America</li></ul><div></div><div>

Strong technical proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, and Word), experience with Salesforce, email (Marketo, Hubspot, etc.) and social platforms and/or project management software (Asana, Monday, Workfront, etc.) a plus</li></ul><div></div><div>
